Say what you will about 00 but its openings were all excellent.

Victory is my favorite because of how fucking creative Uso gets fighting people early on.
I also really dig the motorcycles.

Zeta is good, ZZ is only good once you get to SILENT VOIIIICCEEE

1st season 00 is in my opinion the best Gundam AU.
2nd season onwards it's a bargain bin Zeta with A-Laws = Titans

Anyone know why Gundam's fanbase is not even close to making a consensus on show quality? It seems like there's large groups of people that will each say one series is retarded. In my own opinion I don't know how anyone cares about non-Tomino Gundams because those are mostly shitty, derivative, and uninspired. And then when Tomino himself I don't understand how people can rate his stuff all over the place when his style is consistent throughout and the only difference in animation quality is the first Gundam.

For me, Victory is too long and too focused on character suffering that it gets repetitive. And Turn A for me stands above the rest because it feels like it develops more organically than most other Gundam series and has nice downtime where the characters just interact. G-Reco too feels like it could have been done better if it was longer, and it kind of recycles ideas from Turn A, but I still somewhat like it.

I like 0079, Zeta, ZZ, and CCA fairly equally though. Not entirely but close.

There's variation for sure but I do think the feeling and entertainment is generally the same for all of the UC series that makes it hard to believe that there are people who can hate some and love others. I can neither believe how people like the dumb stuff in the other centuries.

I liked victory but thought turn a was shit. the characters in victory were interesting and the mecha design was non-traditional but in a cool way. turn a was the opposite where the characters were annoying and the mecha designs were just plain ugly.

Victory has the best freakout over realizing how much they've all been reduced that children are fighting so desperately.
