Taniguchi's The Summit of the Gods. The way he uses Everest as a way to tackle character's personal demons is handled really nicely. I'm looking forward to the animated movie that is going to be released.

This. I knew about this show while it was airing and heard a lot of positives about it back then, yet I didn't actually pick it up. I feel pretty stupid for not doing so now, especially since I ended up liking it a lot more than anticipated. Pretty much loved all of it and it's hard for me to find anything negative to say about it, even when trying to be nitpicky. At least I got to enjoy it in one go.

Well, I'm not gonna pretend it supports the original creators much, if at all. I just enjoy having physical copies of manga/anime I like sitting on my shelf, but I'm also an EOP that wants things I can understand.
