Isekai isn't going to end any time soon, but my prediction is that the next thing is going to be monster MC shows. We had a handful of micro fads, like maou isekai, game world isekai, and now monsters are slowly appearing.

Isekai is the most recent fad, but battle highschool and idol anime ruled the 2010s longer than isekai.

020s - shit with shitty cg
030s - shit but without shitty cg
040s - unbearable shit
050s - Jesus, Miyazaki and Tezuka will resurrect and they will burn alive every single director and animator.
