As an Abbabro, the Soft Machine episodes were my favorite. The pacing and cutoff at the end of episode five was perfect. If not that, the train fight was also adapted remarkably.

Part 4 happened relatively shortly after Part 3 because the part lent itself to simpler character designs and alot of arcs didn't require very complex animation so they were able to get it done faster. Part 5 pretty much never hits the breaks and has alot more harder-to-animate action and a necessity for more detailed characters so it took alot longer to get done. I feel like part 6 falls under the part 4 boat and will probably come out relatively soon after the end of 5. Likewise I think part 7 is more like 5 so it's probably gonna take at least as long as part 5 if not longer to get announced. But I still think there's no question it's gonna get made.
