So in the end, why did she wear the bunny suit?

So in the end, why did she wear the bunny suit?

Attached: #.jpg (739x415, 30K)

It turned her on.

Because she can.

Attached: 1539188419630.webm (1280x720, 2.87M)

gimmick to attract readers. In the narrative it's justified as her trying to attract attention because she (correctly) suspected she had become invisible.

because she's a whore

/thread/

Don't talk that way about my self insert's girlfriend

Attached: 1559734303082.jpg (1077x1080, 389K)

>It turned me on.

FTFY

because its a shit gimmick for a shitty show

No one cared who she was until she put on the suit.

IMAGINE sniff her used bunny suit.

Attached: vlcsnap-2018-11-01-16h10m30s921.jpg (1280x720, 161K)

i just assumed it was because she wasn't getting noticed, so she decided to wear something attention-grabbing for jokes because why not.

i mean it worked right? She got the MC's attention.

If I pulled it off, would she die?

To bait people into watching the show. I can 150% guarantee, if she hadn't been in a bunny suit in all the promo art the show would have flopped SO hard.

Attached: 1539001543656.png (1597x1600, 532K)

It would be very painful

This, once I learned she doesn't wear it that often I dropped it so fucking fast

She's a big girl.

uuuu

She is cuter when not in the bunny suit.

Attached: __sakurajima_mai_seishun_buta_yarou__947d19a878161dd94b999f465321d98f.jpg (4086x2897, 1.54M)

If she didn't, then MC won't notice her at all.

As well as a gimmick, it's also a Haruhi reference.

1. it's a retarded gimmick
2. literally bait for bored viewers to give it a try

It's shit.

Attached: __sakurajima_mai_seishun_buta_yarou_and_etc__sample-c6f5083b38a9538ef4a29e293f6513cf.jpg (850x1268, 265K)

I never understood why this show was compared to Haruhi all the time. Monogatari is obvious enough, but what made it similar to Haruhi?

stealing story points/plot arcs. maishit wearing a bunnysuit, which was kind of haruhi's trademark

Specifically wearing the bunny suit in public to attract attention to oneself is from Haruhi. I can't speak to any other similarities.

she's really cute in the manga

Attached: bunyys.jpg (1024x737, 142K)

>endless 8
>tomoe's arc involving a time loop

Why does Yea Forums hate this show so much. I really don't get it. Is it because it's popular or because they ended the waifu war at episode three?

I can't speak to it because I haven't watched more than the first episode.

>wearing the bunny suit in public to attract attention
That's literally why bunny suites exist. you people are just retarded. Never saw a girl dressed similar to advert some shop?

Because it's discount monogatari

>Never saw a girl dressed similar to advert some shop?
Where is this a thing? Playboy would sue you if you tried that in America.

More importantly, why Daichi was in the library if he's canonically a shit student who didn't really bother with his grades until meeting Senjougahara?

Attached: 1547775273.png (750x604, 204K)

>america
>anime

>discount monogatari
because helping out girls with a problem that manifested supernaturally is so unique?

PLEASE
REMEMBER

I don't think it stole it directly, it's just such a cliched piece of shit YA writing devoid of any originality that it may seem that way. It only stole from Monogatari directly just to leech off existing fan base.

because we already have a better version of it

Cute girl, shit characters, especially mc who get to bang her and other girls

Because it's a bad show. Being a bad show isn't that big of a deal on its own, since there are plenty of bad shows. However, r/anime, MAL and Youtube reviewers have circlejerked this series so much, making it seem like it's the second coming, when in reality it's a really mediocre show that blatantly steals from other show that have come before it.

Read what I was replying to retard.

but I dropped the monogatari series a long time ago because it's so utterly boring but I am really looking forward to the movie

>Title implies she's gonna be a bunnygirl
>Only in the clothes for a very short scene, never again
False advertising. I wanted more bunny,

Get her producers cock hard

Honestly, just because of how popular it is, I mean, think about it, it's not visually impressive, it's not originally written, its soundtrack is rather supbar other than nice ED. It doesn't have a unique idea, unique characters or even unique look. Now, there's absolutely nothing wrong with not being unique, for example, let's take this show called Demi-chan wa Kataritai, it's another monster girls show but what saves it from mediocrity is that it explores an interesting idea of how such characters can exist in a very realistic, down to Earth setting with realistic point of view, surprisingly great animation helps too. Bunny Monogatari doesn't offer anything like that, yet it's still insanely popular, it doesn't make sense. What does it do any differently from every mystery harem romcom before it, hell, what does it do differently from regular Monogatari?

Because its just kind of okay but its newfag fans think its the second coming

>suites
>calling other people retarded
user plz

because first world problems.

she's too rich and famous, it was SO HARD to be rich and famous. that she WISHED no one could see her, and it happened. As a result, since no one could see her she decided to wear a bunny girl suit in hopes of finding someone who could see her.

Because there is no point to being rich and famous if there is no one who recognizes it to feed her ego.

Attached: 1484205471365.jpg (960x720, 125K)

Honestly, when you put it like that, Mai's arc was pretty retarded yeah

That's fair and mostly true but it doesn't change the fact that it's nothing but pathetic to hate an anime so eagerly just because other people like it. All these groups you mentioned already forgot about it and moved on to the next thing. Nobody is even talking about the movie which is going to release in a couple of days.

The Hef put her up to it.

>All these groups you mentioned already forgot about it and moved on to the next thing. Nobody is even talking about the movie which is going to release in a couple of days.
Why do you think that is?

>Where is this a thing?
Probably Japan because it's an anime, you fucking mongoloid. Why would you even mention Merica?

>Why do you think that is?
And here we have Yea Forums still sassy about other people praising something they already forgot about.

It's not just the concept but the format that makes it so similar.

Was getting noticed part of her plan?

>the format that makes it so similar.
may I ask what you mean with similar format?

Maybe in the end, we all wore the bunny suit.

I've seen monogatari and oregairu already, I don't need a fucking discount frankenstein of the two.

MC is ultragay

yes, think this through

If you were invisible, and wanted to be seen, how would you KNOW if you're seen?

Easiest way is to wear something insane, or walk around naked. There would be NO MISTAKE that someone saw you. She chose to wear a bunny girl outfit trusting it would be weird enough she could tell immediately if someone saw her. Had that not worked for a few more weeks the story might have been called "Rascal Does Not Dream of Naked Girl Senpai", seriously depending on how desperate she became to be seen, eventually she probably would have wandered around nude just to be sure she doesn't miss someone who sees her.

The girls problems being broken down into separate character arcs with the only overall plotline being his relationship with the first girl.

well it's better t

well it's better than both shows so I don't see the problem. To take the good elements from something and to improve the overall quality is a good thing

a lot of loyalty for a hired bun.

The show blew balls but the MC was pretty alpha.

>Mai is an annoying cunt
>Only interesting arcs are the Kaedae one and maybe the Mai's sister one
>Sakuta's weird give-no-fucks but also give-all-the-fucks attitude can be obnoxious (but at least he's not generic I guess)

Did you have a stroke, shill-san?

>muh schrodinger cat bullshit with the loyal yukino clone is better
Congratulations, you're an idiot that self inserts way too hard.

Because this place is full of contrarians. I am one of them. I watched it and I thought it was just okay. It looks pretty cheap, it's got decent character interactions for the first 3 episodes, it touches on some interesting mental hangups that are more pertinent to the modern age. But it just okay.

But then you have some people claiming it's the best fucking thing they've ever seen, better than Monogatari, Haruhi, Clannad, all of which Bunnygirl blatantly rips off conceptually and cannot not hold a candle to visually at all, not even clannad. And that makes me mad.

If you let people get away with blindly appreciating discount crap as opposed to the good productions that paved the way for it's existence, productions will just keep getting cheaper and even more insular than they already are because that's what production committees will fund. Bunny girl is middle of the road, boilerplate, seasonal anime. And it shows in how it hasn't held any staying power.

Attached: 1546220314630.png (883x691, 407K)

Just read what I posted, no wonder my brain started to strike.

Good post

Because its cute and sexy. Why must SJWs and westerners insert their own political moral ideology into anime? Every single time. Whether its Evangelion or Lain or Madoka or Haruhi or Goblin Hunter or Shield Hero or any Isekai, all the SJWs/Westerners get triggered by the simplest of the things. A reminder to the SJWs/Westerners, people actually like sexy and power fantasies in their fiction regardless of how moralfag you are.

Because Yea Forums is too old to just enjoy a show like this

He asked if I personally had seen a shop advertised by a girl wearing a bunny suit.
Can you read English?

>it's better than both shows
hahahaha

there is no way you actually watched monogatari, if you wrote that line. Bunny-girl isn't in monogatari's class on pretty much any level. But it's not all bad, you're almost half right. Better written then Oregairu? Yes. Better narrative then Oregairu, Yes. Better main character then Oregairu? No. Close enough, i'll give you the point that Bunny girl is better then Oregairu, this is even considering I watched all of Oregairu, and ended up nearly dropped bunny girl 3 times and taking almost a year before finally struggling through to the end of that pretentious mess.

Attached: GoodIrohasu.jpg (787x1208, 114K)

Iroha is fucking shit and the worst part about Oregairu, so opinion discarded.

The truth is that all these shows you mentioned
>Monogatari, Haruhi, Clannad
or even oregeiru are just to slow or to confusing at some point to keep the casuals invested. Clannad and Monogatari for example have huge parts where the focus is on the characters and their relationships. Plebs want their shows to quite literally manifestate the story into a baseball batch to beat the living crap out of the them so they don't get bored.
Bunny girl was such a huge hit because the pasting was fast and all this tedious shit like character development was moved to the back-seat. People were amazed by it because they got to experience all these pearls from these shows in a setting you don't really have to invest in.

Attached: that's how it goes.png (358x383, 111K)

There is probably a lot of truth to that. That's likely why Boogiepop flopped last season. The average attention span of people now must just not be there anymore.

>to slow or to confusing
>to slow
>to confusing
No wonder

>Better written then Oregairu? Yes.
What do you even mean and what the fuck do you even compare to each other. Oregeairu is way better written than Bunny Girl senpai. You know that because it's not as forgettable as that cheap pile of trash called bunny girl senpai.
>Better narrative then Oregairu, Yes.
What the fuck is even Bunny Girl senpais narrative? Bullshit character with borderline boring problems are solved by MC quoting retarded lines he stole out of a parenting book to guide your kids though puberty?
>Better main character then Oregairu? No.
At least you got that one
>Close enough, i'll give you the point that Bunny girl is better then Oregairu
I am just sitting here on a nice sunday evening trolling some butthurted Yea Forumsnons and than you come along and completely outdo me with this utterly retarded post. Please kill yourself

He probably assumed you weren't a retard, big mistake, and knew he was referring to Japanese shops you've seen photos of on Yea Forums, but now I'm the retard for assuming you aren't new.

I think the characterization was the thing that saved this show.

Feel free to post one of those photos you claim are all over Yea Forums, friendo.

Attached: 1505723576104.jpg (278x278, 13K)

Because it's about literally me.

Do your own research, newfag.

Here, have another free reaction image.

Attached: 1454394480478.jpg (421x536, 193K)

I accept your concession.

I think it's just because I've seen anime do everything that this does better.

The only reason women do anything. For attention.

STOP MESSING WITH ME NAGATORO

That and the main girl is a shitty crab knockoff.

It's literally monogatari for zoomers.

But Monogatari had incest bait which automatically makes it waaaaay better.

This show went to shit after they solved Mai's AS.

>Is it because it's popular
Yes, nowadays Yea Forums is a shithole where a lot of people come to shitpost, not discuss anime. Anything which is even slightly popular or considered good is a target, especially new shows. This series in particular is not special in any way, you can see this happening for pretty much everything. A show has to be somewhat popular in order to have a decent number of retards who also bite on to the shitposts. Plenty of threads are even started with the only purpose being shitposting, like this one. You can still find some decent discussion every once in a while, but mostly in slow threads about shows which aren't popular, like last season's Kotobuki or Akanesasu Shoujo before that.

Literally (You)

Attached: 1545860885018.webm (1920x1080, 599K)

You fucking faggot. I was going to post this. And it was going to be a quote to OP
>the only reason this show was made was to deliver this scene which is comedy gold

Who's ready for the movie?

Attached: 1547593768905.jpg (2048x916, 229K)

what's sitting in front of the keyboard?

I really liked boogiepop
It wasn't that hard to follow, maybe just the 1st arc was confusing but the rest was fine

No one asked until she did.

I had no idea there were still people with good taste on this board

too bad neither of you have good taste

>Mai is an annoying cunt

This is one thing I don't understand. She's the perfect girlfriend material.

It looks like a device, not a who.

I won't lie, I watched the show initially because of that scene. Stayed when the dialogue wasn't as bad as 90% of the rest of anime. Not a perfect show by any means, but humorous and comfy.

I used the word "what", ESL-kun.

t. r/anime

That's the problem though, is with how confusing the first arc was, so many people probably dropped it because of that.

Because she know she's hot and that suit can attract the D.
