After the Phibrizo arc, it opened up a slew of possibilities for storytelling because there was no longer a limiter on where Lina's party can travel thanks to the Mazoku Barrier. Seeing as how Hajime was open to, and supportive of, parallel story lines, it makes sense that while the light novels are staying on the continent the anime and manga could branch out and experience new parts of the entire world.
If the light novels get better reviews than Revo / Evo-R did, then there's a chance (however slight) that we'll get another 13 episodes of the anime with its own spin on either Dynast, Dolphin, or Beast.
