I think it's safe to say:

* Bang Zoom! will be the studio.
* Tony Oliver will probably be the voice director.
* Jalen K. Cassell will be one of the script writers.
* Voice actors for past minor characters may get cast again as new characters.

They probably won't go with Italian accents, as the whole story takes place in Italy and there's no need to make them sound "foreign" to viewers. The first season (1&2) was the only one that had accents.

I swear to god, dubs are quality nowadays. I understand the criticism 5 years ago, when it was a circle of the same unskilled VA's that this tiny economy had the budget to afford,

but anime dubs are really quality, with actual respectable talent being hired. We are being treated with gourmet shit, and Yea Forums acts like they could do better.

People speaking a language, forcing you to read the text, just so you can get a clearer meaning,

is an excuse only the highest of manga fans can use. There is more emotional connection in hearing a voice that WANTS to connect with you. I am a big defender of the jojo dub, because half of jojo fans are jojo fans ironically. The influence of jojo on the meme macrocosm on the internet is such a huge factor to why Jojo is as popular as it is today, starting with KONO DIO DA, with the 2012 anime, to today.

They dont care about Jonathan. They didnt care ..until the emotional resonance came, and the anime started being serious. Then a story came together, and jojofans who started ironically, go to serious,caring and endearing.

I got all the way to part 3, out of sheer nothing-to-fuckin-else-to-do-in-my-free-time-ness. And i still didnt resonate. I was like eh, part 2 was good.

Then I got into the dub, which was out for part 1 and 2 at the time, not for part 3. I watched the dub of those boring parts.

Instantly, I got more endeared to Jonathan, and i kinda liked him. THEN I LOVED JOSEPH.

Then the Caesar scene. Just being able to hear them talk, like actual people. Sure, they will still weird, caricatures, and caesar with his italian accent...but just seeing them speak, felt much closer to them.

When caesar died, I cried. When Wammu died, I genuinely balled my eyes out, shit made my heart heavy. I thought...did i watch the same fuckin anime. The other version was a bizzare mess of plot, like some jittery cokehead on lsd tried to make a coherent action story.

Part 3 dub, was good as well. Part 4 has been spectacular. I dont need to hear from you weebs, and i will pollute this board with a 1000 dub threads, because i think the VA's and the company doing the dubs has done an outstanding job and made an outstanding product that properly respected the material, and I wouldnt have it any other way.

I've watched the first couple episodes of part 4 with my brother dubbed. It wasn't great. They need better voice directors. I've heard some of those actors in decent stuff so I know they aren't all complete garbo.

I have only seen clips from them, but weren't the dubs for the first 3 parts not too horrible? Not saying they were great, but average. Part 4's seems like a huge step down.

Part 2 and 3 were pretty good. Part 2 had good pillarmen, but Stroheim was kinda bad but in a funny way. Part 3 was really good, especially with Polnareff, Hol Horse, J Giel,and some other examples i forgot.

Of course it's the best part, it has Rohan.

Eh, depends on the dub. For me part 1's dub is pretty bad with the only exception being Speedwagon and Dio, part 2's is a bit better but still pretty hit or miss (The pillermen and Joseph ranged from passable to pretty good, but Caesar and Stroheim were fucking terrible) Part 3's is serviceable, with the stand outs being once again DIO along with Polnareff and some minor villians. Part 4's dub however is pretty good imo and is probably the best we're going to get in terms of dubbed Jojo

I don't know how a native English speaker can watch this when the mannerisms are so completely alien to natural sounding English. From the lines being utterly stilted to the actors forcing bizarre accents in an attempt to emulate the original Japanese actors. Koichi sounds like a character off of Peewee's Playhouse or some shit, and Rohan sounds like he's fighting to deliver his lines fast enough before the scene changes.
