agreed. I almost dropped the series twice during Greed Island because of how fucking boring and shitty it is. Nothing fucking happens and then the end is a giant cockblock with no purpose except padding out the "Gon looking for his dad" plot line for another arc

I originally watched HxH in 2018, got bored of the Green Island arc,dropped it, came back a couple months later to read watch it, dropped it again at the same fucking arc, then finished it going double speed.

And by the time they are actively lurking NGL, there already are a lot of squad leaders.
If anything, they actually proved to be vital to the damage control.
The arc was still painfully slow, and full of one-note characters, tho. Palm easily beaing the worst character of all.
