She's not demonizing him, she's just worried about his well being. He is heading towards a war zone and is more than willing to kill his only blood related family. Dororo really wishes Hyakki could get along with them because she misses her mom and dad almost every day. The situation is just too complicated for a kid to know what's the right thing to do.

this version of Hyakki reminds me a lot of Fou Lu. Both had a hard life and a peasant waifu. But in Fou Lu's case, his waifu became an atomic bomb and the guy lost it. Would Hyakki become a final boss too if Dororo gets tortured to death?

She doesn't want him to be a blood-crazed killer, and she doesn't want him to kill his only blood related family because to her and her kid mind family is important and she wishes she still had hers.
Also it's been repeatedly shown that Hyakki getting his body back will literally KILL hundreds of innocent people in horrible ways like starvation or plague. They've seen it happen already, and Dororo can't quite come to terms with that. A pair of arms and eyes isn't worth the literal lives of hundreds.

I suspect we are going to get something close. In the blurry ending the first scene is Hyakki caressing his right-side blade and bleeding from the fingers of his left hand.
This probably means he never reclaims his last arm.
This could mean that maybe he leaves Dororo behind forever too.

Except it wasn't their choice, and it's not even something they're aware of. That's like incarcerating a child because their parent or grandparent committed a crime.
That second part could be turned around. Hyakki would deny them their life just to get his body back- body PARTS that he doesn't really NEED. Plenty people are born blind or armless and can't do anything about it- even in the show the samurai just went around chopping off limbs and the characters just had to deal with it.

Hard to beat Ufobucks. Plus that stretch of episodes 13-19 was mostly lacking, and it's only now that the series getting back into the groove it had at the beginning.
And even Kimetsu's worst episode so far at least had some decent animation.

truly unfortunate. i've loved it the whole way but like said, 13-19 were really slow. plus they are an amazon prime exclusive and amazon has retards doing either the translations or the subtitles. i've considered finishing the show on kiss or just downloading from a subgroup, but im a big advocate for supporting the art i like if i can. cuz those metrics are important to the people who decide what kinds of shows are produced. pirating everything is great for the consumer but hurts the industry

One of the most impactful things in a human's life is the first touch they feel outside of the womb.
