Hypothesis: Maruyama bit off more than he could chew, and is having trouble writing the rest of the story, or lost motivation to write.
What we know: Maruyama's quality of writing has dropped drastically in the recent volumes, a lot of chekov's guns look like they're never going to be fired (not necessarily a bad thing in theory, but when there are this many it looks like bad writing), he got kind of mad about piracy on his twitter and joked about taking even longer to write volume 14 which put off a lot of JP and EN readers since it's already taken this long, recent news about Overlord ending soon when so many questions remain unanswered is making readers uneasy.
All that among other things I may have missed. It's a shame, because I actually like the setting conceptually.

What doctrine are you referring to? In neoplatonism, where the term originates, demiurge was used to refer to the creator deity, the one and the infinite. That said, at the time of the doctrine's creation demiurgos was a common Greek term meaning craftsman or artisan, so they were really just saying that there was a creator, not ascribing a name to it.
Later the term took on significance in gnostic christianity as referring to a subordinate of God who was tasked with the creation of the material world, but as far as I am aware that figure was not Satan but another of the angels, one who did not rebel with Lucifer.

We don't know exactly how but it likely went something like this.
Her entire country was turned into zombies by Cure Elim (or her after accidentally copying his magic with her talent, I can't remember if they specify if she only zombified her parents or the whole country with it, or if she even used it at all) and the 13 heroes showed up to investigate. They find a little girl crying and after some time they assume she caused it on accident and had her join since she was innocent. They explain away the destruction of the country as the work of a nefarious vampire lord "Landfall" with a terrifying ability to destroy countries who has been destroyed and thus was no longer a threat while Keno the crybaby joined them as a member of the heroes as a somewhat respectable power by NW standards. Landfall never existed and was just a cover for the zombie disaster. She likely accepted the name herself in her head since she's a chunni who unironically wears black and red with chains to look cool.
