The european and latino versions of the manga differ from the american release

>Araki
>Forgetting

Wow what a surprise user!

The english release is a translation of the JOJONIUM volumes which were released in japan. The European release is a translation of the japanese regular edition. The covers are kept. Latinos however, your covers look like shit.

I was under the impression he redrew the cover characters in a way that matches his current art style.

Also

It’s been like 30 years now

There's artstyle, and then there's the fundamental character design. No matter which way you slice it, the dude on the cover is as Avdol as I am a giant space alien with 3000 penises.
For example, let's use another popular franchise which re-draws its characters every so often to keep up with the current artstyle: Pokemon. There are only a few differences I can see in the actual character design on the left and the right, most notably that the newer rendition has a smaller neck, a slightly more rounded head, and slightly longer legs. The OP image is a whole different bird - if you took off the guy's clothes, would you even be able to recognize him as Avdol?

he looks a lot more like pucci than avdol

exactly!

Araki was probably like
>I really liked the gay priest, I'm gonna make everyone in part 8 a copy of him

Anyone smell lore here?

>if you took off the guy's clothes, would you even be able to recognize him as Avdol?

Yes because Araki gave very distinctive hair to all of his important characters.

>if you took off the guy's clothes, would you even be able to recognize him as Avdol?
Yes. Who else has hair like that?

cry more, manime faggot

Is Jojo a meme show like Gintama?

>meme show
no, but you're living a meme life

The image you posted keeps the same artstyle, only the colouring and the proportions are altered. Araki's artstyle had a radical change and even though he started drawing very similar faces, anyone can recognize that character as Avdol (even without the clothes which many times are a big part of any human design btw)
Here's an example of an artist with a big change on his artstyle, with the design still being recognizible

>hurr durr wanna be the little girl
forced meme go die.
It's pretty god damn sad that we can't have a JoJo thread right now without faggots and false flaggers who only come around to bring the mood down. This place has become cancer in a matter of two fucking hours.

It was his experimental transitional style between SBR and Jojolion.

Come on guys, know your product.

shinkiro?
more like shinkino

you're gay and retarded shut up

I am on part 3 right now and its good shit. but the art style and story telling is tripping me up. theres something really weird about it. and I dont want to say it since its pretty obvious but like the ripple shit has no explanation as to where it came from really. it just feels random as fuck that these fucking euros are masters in this east asian martial art. Do they go into any further detail about that shit?

the fuck? jojo threads were always filled with raging homosexuality newfag

He didn't forget. That's how Avdol would look if he came out now with Araki's current art style. Just like how Jonathan looks nothing like his old self in the new cover for part 1.

Jonathon is the biggest casualty of the current artstyle. Hard to think he couldn’t go down after being tackled by three rugby players the way he looks now.

i mean he didn't look very good in the manga either

Jonathan came from a much simpler, less certain time. The reason why he's harder to recognize in the new artstyle has less to do with Araki's drawing skills and much more to do with his very, very, very simple design. Ever since then, Araki makes it a priority to give character's distinct accessories and hairstyles to make them easily recognizable from other angles and at a distance. It's mostly him that goes through this, Zeppeli's got a very distinct design and style, and Part 2's design in general are much more detailed and covered in trinkets and headgear.

His bantu knots actually make sense here

Fair enough, señor, but now if you excuse me I will be back to draining the pipes of Señora user

Come out of the closet user it's safe here.

You stupid cumskin he's saying it looks bad cause it looks different not because the design is "ethnic"

He looks amazing here though

He looks great in that illustration. Like some kind of desert Spirit - looks like a character in 1001 Arabian Nights.
