kinda like it to be honest, i love shit voice acting

Dubs into English are certainly a lot better than Dubs into Japanese. They're somethin' else.

Ironic shitposting is just "shitposting."

How old is this pic?

Which shows do you think had a good dub where the VA's actually cared about their role as much as their seiyuus?
Off the top of my head,
>Death Note
>Cowboy Bebop
>Dragon Ball

Bullshit. Japanese Bee Movie is the defining version.

I think Evangelion’s dub has some merit, primarily Gendo and Misato

I'm so mad about Netflix changing the dub cast for Evangelion. Right now I'm convincing mom and dad to cancel Netflix since I just leech of them and don't actually have an account of my own to cancel.

FLCL
some of the characters basically had the same voice, the casting was so close

Check these dubs!

Wait what? Netflix Eva is a redub?

Early 2000s

Yes, since they are a directly licensing it not sub-licensing. Chances are it should be pretty good, with proper casting and voice direction, instead of the typical "it won't sell if there isn't a dub, so lets do it as cheaply as possible."

After some whining, the original VAs were given a chance to audition, but will not be used.
