I want to start collecting all of a character's items, but her having four figures that are largely identical threw me for a loop. Was just wonder if people that do collect have no qualms with buying them even with minor differences. I think that was my question I was trying to ask to people that do collect quite a bit for a character. Variants are weird, to me at least, if they don't change too much. Like skin color and clothes are nice, but if she's basically wearing the same except the pattern on the undergarments are different.

Fold it in half length wise (cardboard between), then flip both L/R sides behind the cardboard, then fold around 6in from the bottom to top, then fold completely the top part behind the cardboard, then the bottom part completely up.

I don't know why Ariel is once again relevant in 2019, but here's the original Ariel GKs from back when it was new

It really depends. They didn't have good figures back then, instead you had to get resin kits like these. They were mass-produced, so the more popular the character, the more kits that were made and the more of them that will still be around several decades later. I've seen Borgman and Silent Mobius kits go for less than $10, and kits from more obscure series go for over $100

All I really care about is seeing new sculpts/new paint as soon as possible and in decent quality. A video to get a better 360 rotation view of them would be nice, not sure how close you're able to get to them. A general montage type thing I suppose would be what I'm interested it.

Figuarts are the standard size for most action figures, about 6 inches tall. There's far smaller action figs out there. The skirt may possibly be soft for poseability so you could pose her lifting her skirt. Don't think there's anything else of her doing that, except maybe some GK.

Now I'm curious. For anyone who revealed their collection to their family, how do they feel about it?

I did that from time to time, Starting in Mac Anu at level 5, clicking random and somehow ending in a lvl 99 map made me shit myself but it was fun, incidentally I learn to max my characters that way, I would make them all my item bags by giving them potions and trading random drops for them, I was a hoarder and always kept all rare items for myself as long as I could use them.
Combat wise, I would carry several weapons and swap mid battle, buff the fuck out of people and force them to fight X enemy from far.

I tried to play through them a few months ago, got through the first but they're just not good games. The plot was the easily more interesting than the gameplay but there wasn't even a lot of that.

The usual Jap companies will be there (GSC and Co., Alter, Aquamarine, QuesQ, Vertex, Megahouse, Alphamax/Skytube, Flare, Native etc.). Judging from last year, you might be able to see a few new prototypes and newly painted ones as well. Not guaranteed though.

With that said, the main difference with the usual WFs is the emphasis on chink companies so you probably won't see nip companies showing too much. I'll be personally looking at Myethos' and Hobby Max's stuff. Please give me more GFL figures.
