Lke most likely a lot of anons,I watched the pokemon dubs as a kid. There was also Inazuma Eleven but Ididn't watch it.Aside from that,I don't think my country's public television had any more anime dubs.

but Inazuma Eleven is like from 2009..

Half the cartoons on TV in germany were actually just old anime masked as german cartoons. That way parents wouldn't think twice about letting their kids watch any of them.

German dubs sound interesting

Saint Seiya, Dragon Ball, Dragon Quest, Sailor Moon, Zenki, Slam Dunk and Ranma

>animes

Ronin Warriors was literally my first anime before I even knew what anime was. They ran it on the FOX Saturday morning block in the early 90s.

I never watched anime until I could torrent. The crappy selection of dubbed anime toonami offered didn't really wow me as a kid.

Do you even realize you're a cliche at this point?

Pokemon

I didn't live in latin america so I never had those animes you listed

Doraemon, Saint Seiya, Chibi Maruko Chan, Dragon Ball, Minky Momo, Honeybee Hatchi, Crayon Shinchan, P Man, Ninja Hattori, Ninja Rantaro, Dr Slump, World Masterpiece Theatre

I rented every Rumiko Takahashi anime on VHS that I possibly could. I totally ate up Ranma, Urusei Yatsura, Maison Ikkoku, Fire Tripper, ect. I still have a lot of those VHS tapes too.

Does this apply to American or Europeans?
Those were major hits in Latin America. But I don't think it was the same for other continents.
I'm sure Saint Seiya didn't hit in conservative America because it had some gay as fuck moments.

yuyu hakusho, saint seya, dragon ball, sakura card captors, sailor moon, eva, tenchi muyo, rurouni kenshin, inu yasha

We had something similar in the US on the Nickelodeon network in the 80's. It had an old Grimm's Fairy Tales Classics anime, but it wasn't marketed as anything from Japan from what I recall.

I watched Unico as a kid and it terrified me, so I didn't watch much anime until the likes of DBZ and Escaflowne made their way to the West.

Yu Yu Hakusho
Rurouni Kenshin
Dragon Ball Z

those 3 shows were in the same after-school Toonami lineup when I was like 3rd to 5th grade

I'd have to rate them

Yu Yu > Kenshin >>> DBZ

I watched Tomato man, Dash Yonkuro and Doraemon, Ultraman Taro,Choushinsei Flashman, and Hikari Sentai Maskman when I was four and five. Then Dragon Ball aired on my local tv channel.

NUBE TRANSLATIONS FUCKING WHE!? SERIOUSLY!!!

Captain Tsubasa

Saint Seiya, Dragon Ball Z, Card Captor Sakura, Pokemon (and Beyblade, Yu-Gi-Oh, Digimon etc)
On some channel I would watch (occasionally) Fist of the North Star, City Hunter and old school anime (Heidi, Lady Oscar, Grendizer, Ulysse, Harlock etc).
