For example, it shares the two sides of the protagonist with MT. The characters see the main character from a totally different perspective as the main character. With MT the main character is a 34 year old neet reincarnated as a baby which none of the side character know and ReZero the MC goes through a bunch of failed timelines and the side characters will only see the MC that reaches the successful loop.

I see the thing with MT because someone mentioned that MT was the author's favorite Isekai.

Early on, the LN is probably superior. The writing wasn't terrible, but I don't think the author really hit his stride early on. However, I do like aspects of the characterization there. Through Arc 3 and 4, the WN is at its best. For the most part, LN Arc 3 matches the WN until around the anime. Some characters were toned down a bit, a few cool scenes were cut, but the general feel was preserved until after the anime.

The author has admitted that he changed the way he writes, trying to make the work more digestible and better suited for an anime and for the people who started reading after the anime. So, since certain scenes were cut in the anime, the LN removes all direct reference to them. The tone of the story and general characterization is changed significantly, many characters having their negative traits removed or reduced. There are a lot more action scenes, often taking the place of what was closer to a horror scene. Lower-key fights that were more a private confrontation between two individuals were switched out with big epic magical dick measuring competitions with more people involved.

Lots of anons told me on the other threads about the real relationship about Rem-san and Subaru-kun, Fludgel tree confession and toned down Subaru with his scum behavior, as well as the truth with Satella, Echidna and the clown strangling. One side tells me to read the LN, but that shit only has 8 volumes translated. So what should i do here, read the LN 9r go for the WN instead? And is the WN actually related to it's actual storyline? I just finished watching the anime and i can't understand jackshit at all.

If you want to jump to where the anime left off, start with Arc 4. I strongly advise you to start with user's interlude (the part you start with) because his doesn't skip the Natsuki Rem chapter like Translation Chicken (which is canon by the way). Translation Chicken's translations are higher quality and more polished than user's but he hasn't finished Arc 4 like user has. Start with user's interlude, then switch to Translation Chicken or just keep with user's like I do. Also user's translation gets way better the farther into the Arc because I guess they were learning as they went.

The end result is the same. There is a noticeable point where the writing and characterization diverges more sharply than ever before, and this is something that was noticed over in Japan too. The changes to Arc 4 are not simply cleaning up a huge mess. It changes much of the tone as well. Maybe you like epic fight scenes more than I do, but I prefer some more atmospheric horror and dread to that.

A mess that has the tone and tension I like is superior to a smooth read that lacks it or even forgets to introduce necessary plot elements at the appropriate time. Seriously. Otto got more attention when Subaru made the bet with Roswaal, and I guess Tappei just let the whole contract mechanism slip his mind after changing the scene. And then had to jam it back in. It's a damn shame too, because the contract was what gave that last loop real stakes.

But through losing Puck, she was able to break even the Witches curse on her. And by regaining her memory, she relearns her latent magical skills, but not by casting spells via Puck and using ambiant Mana from the atmosphere, but by using her own Gate to solo cast spells.

No, you're misunderstanding the changes. The difference was more that the reason Emilia couldn't summon Puck was changed to have more to do with Roswaal.
Some people will be hyperbolic, but essentially the anime version of the story is a lot shallower and doesn't do the characters justice. It actually cuts and alters scenes to remove certain character traits. It never really shows just how mentally damaged Subaru has gotten by the end, and doesn't really show how he's grown emotionally dependent on Rem because they rewrote scenes to her begging to stay with him instead of the other way around.

Basically, the original story doesn't really make use of the whole "character is completely fixed after dramatic moment" thing. Rem's portrayal after Arc 2 shows her as improving, but she's still not an ideal girl unless "ideal" includes dropping roofies into your tea. Rem is still very much mentally unwell.

The same goes for Subaru. The anime cuts just how emotionally dependent on Rem he ends up. Even after From Zero, Subaru isn't left unscarred. Rem even exploits this to get him to confess to her while she pretends to be dying, and they almost kiss before they're interrupted.
LN Arc 5 ends this month. So some time this month if Tappei isn't dropping the WN.

I hope that if he's going to continue the WN to not push emilia as hard into the forefront as he's doing the LN.
