How could you spend chapters and chapters of building up dragon mother and human son story content and then have the protag end up with a Rabbit Girl while the Dragon Mother remains single and will never got to have her own baby dragon human hybrids?
It's like Reverse NTR. The main heroine of the story who is a dragon with a son complex gets her boy stolen by a generic rabbit girl that the web novel barely focuses on.
Looks like even Japan is disappointed because some Japanese comments are from people who noticed this work due to the manga adaption and are shocked that the human protag doesn't end up with his beautiful dragon mother.
Fuck this shit. This story ends up being blueballing shit and the author won't even throw mom fags a bone by pairing up the MC with a girl who isn't even a dragon but a generic rabbit girl.
The webnovel seems to be ongoing and I haven't read every chapter but it feels like this story will just only end up with the Dragon Mother never getting a chance to be paired up with her human son because there are some really descriptive web novel chapter titles that seem to imply Dragon Mother lost to the Rabbit Girl.
Then again, it is still just a web novel which are really rough drafts. Light novels don't always follow what happened in the web novel. Editors may force changes.
In this case, the manga came out before the light novel which will be released by Overlap on July 25.
If Overlap Editor can't make the author realize a future controversy, I wonder if sales will start dropping once the light novel catches up with the web novel arc where the Dragon Mother loses to the Rabbit Girl?
