I'm still not that big of a fan. I'm sure a lot of people just haven't read it for a while before the anime though and their opinions were based on their years old memories so when the anime came out and they watched it and the experience was new again their opinion changed. That and animeonlies love every part more than the last one.

I don't read manga, but the previous season of jojo was the worst entirely because of the coloration and art style--this is an improvement by default.

all it did was confirm my initial complaints. Giorno is an absolute snorefest of a character, and the boss has a bullshit stand. When I read it a couple years ago, you guys told me to wait until the better scans come out. And then the colored scans came out, and it's still shit. Now the anime is here and it's still shit. I can't wait until Sleeping Saves when you guys try to defend Requiem stands.

I think having it in animation gave way to fix a lot of issues with it. Idk if "fan favourite" is accurate but David Production has done a lot of facelifting, like giving Giorno more personality and snipping out and dropping in a few minor things here and there. It's getting more positive opinions now because david productions is doing it better than the manga did
