I have a small collection of manga, Like very small. I’m having issues on the price of one of the series that I have however. It’s the bastard!! manga. I have volumes 2-19 and I don’t know how much it costs.
Let’s discuss our manga collections

I don't have one...
>Bastard!!
nice
>JoJo
garbage
That’s fine. I was just wondering about the price and wanted to discuss others collections.
I got the set for 80 at a pawn shop. I was generally surprised at condition that they were in
I'll indulge you OP but too lazy to take a picture
>Goodnight Pun Pun all volumes
>first three volumes of Monster Perfect Edition
and in the basement
>Love Hina all volumes
>Slayers (Chōbaku Madōden Slayers) all volumes
>FLCL both volumes
Sorry, but I don't have one.
On top of all these LN I have 16 books preordered that are mostly sequels. I do want to find more gems like 86 that don't have anime yet but its hard.
Elfenlied1-4, Aldnoah zero 1-3, Tokyo Ghoul 1-10, Dragonball 1-6, both dbz mangas for bog movie, AoT(Main series) 1-15, AoT No regrets 1-2, AoT Inside and all of the curently available Jojo's hardcover books(Part 1:1-3,Part 2: 1-4 and Part 3: 1-10
Also had until recently OP V1-86
Do you mean you want volume one, if so just buy it used from abebooks for $12, $50 dollars brand new if you must, assuming you want the english version.
Best one so far
>arranging them right to left
Not even nips do that.
This isn't up to date at all but here's some stuff I got.
It just looks better when you read the titles, you tilt your head to the right and go from top to bottom.
The rest of my shelves are all Yea Forums stuff so I'm not posting them.
Mine is growing, I find manga on Ebay to be super cheap so I end up buying the whole series at times.
>the rest of Bastard will never be translated
Ey wassa matta with you Viz?
enjoy your cum stained second hand manga, bruv
As long as the pages aren't glued together a little cum isn't so bad.
why does everyone seem to have Uzumaki?
The only good thing I see is Made in Abyss and One punch man, also you should seperate your really long series like Onepiece away from the rest.
It's a cheap but high-quality product with a comfy horror story that doesn't get any worse on multiple readings, it makes sense people would want to own it.
Uhh, sweetheart? REAL and Summit of the Gods are better than any manga you've ever read.
>seperate your really long series like Onepiece away from the rest.
I don't understand, OP is already completely on its own.
Why are the best manga in the basement
In case the house burns down.
They're childhood memories.
Nice to see tsugumomo and witch hat in your collection.
I had huge one back in my prents house. A collection of Conan, Kekkaishi, Doraemon and Naruto.
Cant take a picture of it, sadly, since im not even in the same country now
It may be on its own but it still draws attention away from the others around it.
I have no idea what that means.
Is there a specific reason why libraries do this? I buy used books because it’s cheaper and just got three volumes in the mail that are hardcover.
What do the libraries do?
What?
They use those barcodes when checking the books out and returning them.
Having how much manga is too much? I just looked at my bookshelf and realized I have well over 350 manga volumes if I count the omnibuses as their individual volumes. Not even counting all of my old monthly Shonen Jump volumes from my teenage years. A fairly big chunk of them come from a few of the manga box sets Viz has released.
Too much is when you can't display it properly, get rid of some or put it into storage for when you can get more room.
You can't have too much, only too little.
>Diary of a Wimpy Kid
Last two series I finished collecting were Blame! Master Editions and Taniguchi's The Summit of the Gods.
Because Uzumaki is a great book and Ito is a good story teller. I have nearly all of his other books besides Frankenstein, and Shattered which just got released. Might get them later in the year when his adaptation of No Longer Human is out. Don't really feel compelled to pic up Cat Diary. Just looks boring. Are the Berserk deluxe editions worth getting? I'm wary Dark Horse is going to go bust giving they've lost loads of licenses lately to other companies and they don't really have a lot they can profit from. The books themselves look beautiful but I'm not going to buy them in case they just go bust midway through the series and I'd rather just have another company like Seven Seas give Berserk a good hardcover release like their classic collection series.
post your work friendo
The series is paperback but the library made hardcovers for the books.
Does it count as a collection if i only own 13 volumes of the same manga?
That's better than me only owning 4 volumes of the same manga.
I have a couple things but honestly buying manga is retarded.
It depends on if you plan to buy more, if its something you bought 10 years ago and forgot about then no.
I have a few smaller series but not enough shelf space to display them properly
The Berserk Deluxes are great but I seriously doubt DH will finish up with them.
>tfw bought the same fucking copy 4 times because the cover is indistinguishable from the other issues and there was no text on the back
I do intend to buy more but only of this particular manga, so far.
My latest get are the Emanon volumes. But I left most of my collection back home.
Tell us what manga, user. Don't worry, there's no judgement here.
There's no way they are going to finish them all but it is a nice idea and a good looking collection. Is the Grunbeld novel worth getting? I heard it had lots of inconsistencies in the translation which make some scenes unreadable.
My manga collection is smol
Sam & Max is my favorite manga
The great のんのんびより, of course. Also, i can't believe my windows automatically completed the title in japanese i just wrote. I wonder how he knew.
>. Is the Grunbeld novel worth getting?
No. It's literally just edgy (RAPERAPERAPE) fanfiction written by someone who doesn't get Berserk. Had some cute grills though.
Then thats a collection, it means you'll only have the very best and you should be proud of it. Eventually you'll find another series you love just as much.
I really need to get those Mizuki Showa books.
How do you sustain your existence with an indoor temperature like that?
>How do you sustain your existence with an indoor temperature like that?
It's raining outside and my computer is dangerousely close to the window so i can't afford to open the windows. I usually open them wide though and also wear little clothing to help cool down.
>manga in english
ew
Thats a really nice manga collection that isn't stuck in the past like most here, you just need more space. Even if there is a LN and Sam & Max there too.
why only 1 and 7 for houseki?
If my room gets warmer than 19 Celsius I can't even.
I've been meaning to clear off and sell some figures I've last attachment to to make room for more manga and mecha musume kits
I'm a poor fag and have a bad habit of buying manga out of order because I read it online then forget to buy it or don't have the money to buy every volume
>all those thin books
I recently moved out so I can't show off my collection, it's pretty small too cause I'm a third worlder.
>guy selling Excel Saga 1-16 for 60 bucks on ebay
>had to fix my car up that week
>guy selling Excel Saga 1-13 for like 50 bucks a week ago
>end up moving that week
just shoot me, Yea Forums
I've been meaning to get the new Berserk deluxe editions but didn't get around to it yet
Should I collect manga in japanese and just read it online in english? Not sure if that makes sense.
Give it to me straight doc, do I need to buy Blame?
user your collection is pretty kick-ass.
nice
If you wanna give the author money, buy in Japanese.
Of course. My one problem with it is there are barely any extras at all which would've been nice but they are pretty solid books.
You'd need to buy brand new volumes, preowned sends nothing to the author.
Why would the english version not give money to the author? Sure theres more people who get a piece but the price is higher to compensate.
Some of the redrawn pages are questionable and them changing Killy's name is annoying but it's still very nice.
1/2
>Fire Punch
>Dungeon Meshi
>Golden Kamuy
>Dorohedoro
Nice, clean your camera though, bro
>Devilman
I heard they put another Devilman series into those and mixed up the chapters with the original one, is it even comprehensible to read?
tl;dr they get less
plus English versions are generally overpriced as fuck compared to the jap ones (not considering shipping) so it's lighter on your wallet if you can get the original copies cheap.
I only have the first classic collection but I'm getting the second one soon but there are some short stories in the end of volume one. One set in France with Marie Antonietta and some other one I can't remember.
2/2
Not pictured are the Berserk DE and Jojo volumes because they're still being shipped.
This shelf is just slabs of wood attached to the wall with bubble-wrapping inbetween the books and wall to protect them from dirt because I am too a cheap Jew to buy another proper shelf.
I figure Monster, Pluto, Girls' Last Tour and some Junji Ito's are the last new series I'm going to get. Maybe Kengan Asura and Chainsaw Man too if those ever get licensed. After that it'll just be keeping up the series I already follow.
are those doujins on the bottom row?
Kengan Asura is getting an English release? Nice. What's that Penguin Classics book? Nice Dick collection. I just bought The Penultimate Truth today.
Do you have any links or proof, I've only ever seen the most vague statements from authors being called proof when it could easily just mean they get less money from overseas total.
>I figure Monster, Pluto
If you like these why not 20th Century Boys and Master Keaton too?
>Dungeon Meshi
>Golden Kamuy
>Monogatari
You're already the most based user here, good job.
They added in the weird time travel chapters to pad out the page lengths of both volumes to a triple-decker. Basically you just want to skip chapters 6-10 and it'll read on fine from there. One thing I might add is that the new translation isn't as memeworthy (but still solid), which might be a downer if you've seen the pages of the old translation floating around.
Kengan's not getting one yet, just saying I would get it if it ever did get localized.
The Penguin book is Don Quixote.
I've read 20thCB online, but the final stretch felt like constant edging that it dragged down the whole thing for me, so I didn't feel like getting the physicals. I've seen the Monster anime in the past and heard good things about Pluto, though I should check out Master Keaton.
Master Keaton is a more of a case-of-the-week type of thing so there's no real overarching story.
I've only started buying recently and haven't got much of a collection yet, but one day I'd love to have a small bookshelf with most of my favourite series.
>Girls Last Tour volumes 1-4
>Fire Punch volume 1
>Yotsuba volume 1
>Ryuushika Ryuushika complete
>A couple of ABe artbooks
I'd rather just wait for the Master Keaton Perfect Editions. Monster and 20th Century Boys got them so why not Keaton? I think some of them from the current editions are already out of print, correct?
>I'd rather just wait for the Master Keaton Perfect Editions
You mean the ones that came out ages ago and collect the entire series already?
amazon.com
Nice. I thought it was just getting a similar treatment to what Monster and 20th Century Boys were getting.
Libraries themselves don't make the covers. They purchase them that way. A lot of it comes from a publisher called Paw Prints.
Also hardcovers are a fair bit more durable than a paperback.
I used to work for a major book distributor and saw these all the time. The weirdest shit to me was seeing library bound volumes of Dance in the Vampire Bund.
>library bound volumes of Dance in the Vampire Bund
>There were libraries in the US to have have Dance in the Vampire Bund
>Little kids probably checked that out
I work at a library. One of the most heartwarming experiences was seeing two little girls (like elementary school age) reading Death Note and giggling because Misa's panties were visible.
Give your old jump volumes to a comic shop, see if you can introduce some old nerds to manga
I've been buying shit since early 00's but I always had too much trouble starting too many series and ending none.
Since some time ago I had enough money and ended some but now the problem is having enough place, I have sold tons of stuff just because the series are too old and the tomes left impossible too find and I don't have place to have things. Collecting gunpla shit isn't helping either.
Mine's outdated, everything is in storage for a move
Very girlish collection
>Boogiepop
Based, I've also got both omnibus
Do you buy a series in bulk or are you fine with buying one or two volumes and then waiting for more volumes to come out?
I only have berserk until Golden Age And Spice & Wolf Anniversary Collection nothing more. I wish i had money and space to buy more
I buy bulk if I see them cheap in a physical retailer. Other wise I'll just preorder them so I can just have them delivered and don't have to think about it
I buy series by the story-arc unless I'm caught up in which case it's just one at a time.
I got most of my OP in the box sets of course.
Probably have 30-40 more volumes today compared to when this was taken.
>Otoyomegatari
I want that
Is it bad if I tend to buy a couple volumes of a manga to pressure myself into buying more of it later? Like, I want to expand my collection one day, but updating my collection to finish the series I have is on the backburner right now.
>tfw my nephews completely ruined my 10+ year-strong Lego collection because my mom and my stupid sister-in-law couldn't be assed to take care of them
>tfw had to just give them away when I moved since it wasn't worth anything as all sets were missing all minifigs and pieces
>no cool-ass first ed Millenium Falcon sitting on top of my manga shelf
user you're making me sad, but also cool collection...
Then get it! Cute steppe waifus await you.
Just buy hings in whatever order you feel like getting them, it's fine.
>tfw got them 5 bucks each at Goodwill
I started collecting mayo chiki to find out the manga is not getting any new copies because they switched to omnibus.
Also tried collecting d-frag, but vol 3 is like $80 because it stopped being made.
I just gave up collecting manga. I don’t even read them physically
Pariya is a miracle of the universe
I've been around too long and experienced lots of mid-series cancellations. I tend to only buy volumes for series I am certain will finish. I bought Gundam Origin as it was being released in English because the publisher assured readers they would print all volumes. And I knew it would be absurdly expensive afterwards for this relatively low run
I have Aku no Hana 1-4 in the original tankobon format, it's gonna be a pain in the ass getting the ones I'm missing now that Vertical did them in wide-ban format...
I recommend just getting the Aku no Hana omnibuses. Vertical did a good job on them.
>d-frag, but vol 3 is like $80
?? It's 10 bucks on Amazon
I liked the covers on the tankobons better, but if they're good enough I'll take your recommendation, user. Thanks.
I'm just angry my country's translation of it is based on the American version and kept the shit-bug insult instead of using dung beetle.
In leafland there are only third party sellers selling a new copy and after shipping it is around 40-80
Fuck, I remember when certain volumes of Stardust Crusaders were going for stupid amounts of money. After a while Simon & Schuster just let a bunch of dead stock out to distributors. It wasn't just Jojo, I remember seeing a ton of really old Viz product flow through in during a short amount of time.
Viz used to be terrible for just ending a series a third through because "muh sales targets"
I'm currently hunting all of Excel Saga (cause I'm surprised they even published all of it in English, just look at Zetsubou-Sensei) and I recall that the 9th volume was worth like 60 bucks a few years ago. Luckily the price for each volume seems to have dropped to normal levels not too long ago.
I wish Zetsubou Sensei would be re-published again. Finished now and they can easily do something like ten hardcovers for it for all the volumes.
There's only a tankobon release in Japan, I doubt they'd do their own omnibus or anything special like hardcovers for it here.
I did ask Kodansha why they stopped publishing it, they've never given me an answer and just avoid the question altogether whenever they can, but I guess they were selling too little copies for the amount of work (i.e. pay requested) the translators were putting in. They went through like 4 or 5 translators too in 14 volumes IIRC.
This is part of the reason I stopped buying translated manga.
I would've hated to have been one of those people buying something like Ichigo 100% only to have it cancelled 14 volumes in with 5 left to go.
Those poor translators probably went crazy trying to translate Zetsubou Sensei. Itoshiki would probably find something like that hilarious.
It's a work in progress
Demand does die down eventually, it's a good idea to hold on and wait. Most people selling manga get frustrated and lower their prices after a while
Just don't trust Viz. Vertical always completes a series and they tend to release better manga. Dark Horse finishes series too. I like to support Vertical in particular for pushing the boat out with what they license. I mean they print stuff like Velveteen and Mandala for god's sake, that's a real risk considering it has a scene where a character is raped after having a diarrhea episode
I started collecting, but I'm only getting stuff I really like and only short series with less than 30 volumes because of physical space.
I currently have Akira, Death Note, Punpun, Gurren Lagann and Alita.
Vertical shit goes out of print and gets stupid expensive way fast, man.
I'm still mad they published Black Jack when I was a poor student and couldn't afford manga.
>Alita
>less than 30 volumes
user...
I only just started reading manga as a hobby. Previously all I read was Berserk, which was great, but I never bought any physical volume. I now own the first volume of Dungeon Meshi. It is very good and I am happy with my purchase.
I'm not american user, even though I'm buying some english stuff through Amazon, the original got reduced to 4 volumes, and last order will be 12. I'm not sure what else if after that but I doubt I'll get Kasei Senki that soon.
>Akira
Are they ever planning to put out the translated versions in the recent Deluxe Box Set as separate physicals? The current Dark Horse version has flipped pages, and the only way to get the B/W right-to-left versions is through the sold out deluxe box set version or the fucking Spanish translation of all things.
After Last Order there's still Mars Chronicles.
>Vertical always completes a series
Ninja Slayer would like a word with you
don't fucking remind me
New collector here. What are some good websites for used stuff? I can't afford to buy new stuff all the time(even though I want to), and I don't trust stuff enough to blindly buy used. I would prefer to buy used from somewhere that is recommended.
Used book stores
Most of the ones around me closed down. The ones left have very small manga collection.
I've had good luck with ebay. Always read the description and look through the pics though. Lots of people just bulk-sell all their old manga there.
>ps3
>ps4
>diary of a whimpy kid
>jojo
Hi sjwdit, have you removed any subs lately?
Dunno then. I uselly get manga from local used bookstores, thrift store, Bookoff, or Amazon. I know there’s another online Japanese book store Anons use but I never use it so I can’t remember the name. Maybe someone else can link it
> he keeps Diary of the Wimpy kid on his bookshelf
What the fuck is wrong with you?
Had them the day they came out when I was thirteen, don’t have any cousins to give them to
Maybe I'll just use Amazon and ebay then. I was just curious if there was any form of website that was known for selling nicer quality used mangas.
Good story imo
I haven't used it too much but I've heard good things about Mandarake if you're looking for untranslated things, and I've not had any bad experiences either.
Yes
As the other user said there's mandarake and if you use a proxy you should also be able to get some stuff from suruga-ya. Though I can't speak for their actual manga stock, I only bought a bunch of doujins from them.
As for quality, there's no need to worry imo because japs seem to be taking very good care of their stuff in general and "used" basically just means "somebody looked at it".
Me no speak jap.
Thanks for the suggestion though.
I've yet to order anything from them but you can take a look at book outlet, they carry a lot of book overstock, usually having like a red dot or line somewhere at the bottom, for cheap prices. You'll have to go digging though as search isn't the best and it's more likely you'll find random volumes of a series, but it's worth a look. I think seven seas release have the most there.
Ah that sucks man, it's a great set. I have the whole thing. This is why I buy everything Vertical though, I want to encourage them to do bigger runs. They are a very, very small publisher
Oh shit, genuinely didn't know. I guess that's why they were repeatedly promising to finish Gundam then
>Book Outlet
That was the store I was thinking of
Mandy is great but you usually have to spend over 25 dollars of you get charged as 5 dollar fee. Also they’re extremely draconian when it comes to payment. You bounce a payment and they WILL ban you
Golden Kamuy up to date, Takemitsuzamurai, Sunny, two collections of short stories by Haruko Ichikawa, Nejishiki, some shit by Kabu Nagata, some volumes of Witch Hat Atelier, Jojo parts 2 and 3, Solanin and 4 volumes of Vagabond
Kabi* Nagata
How is Witch Hat? The art looks nice. I can never seem to find Solanin anywhere, has it gone out of print? I know Nijighara went out of print occasionally but it never seems to be in stock in any bookshop or comic shop I check
It’s really pretty and the MC is cute but the story is eh right now. It’s starting to take an interesting turn though
I actually had to go out of my way to buy the last two volumes of this. Nobody had the balls to scan licensed translations for a niche manga.
Never again
It's strange because disregarding the sequel Ninja Slayer has 14 volumes and they stopped publishing at 8. Surely they should have noticed earlier than halfway through if it wasn't selling enough.
Worth picking up? The premise reminds me a lot of Ajin a lot
Its mindless fun with few fun twists so yeah. Art and paneling are pretty good also
That's a damn shame. One of the translators did say its some old boomer running the place though, and he gets convinced to do manga rather than what he likes to sell which is superior nipponese cooking books
How are the Monster Perfect Edition volumes?
I have the first volume of High School of the Dead, a random volume from around the middle of Assassination Classroom, and the first volume of High-Rise Invasion. The one physical store I know of has a really minimal stock and shipping to where I live is expensive so I don't really have a large collection.
I like it.
Finally a good fucking bread. Enjoy my plebeian tendencies! Also I am aware some aren't in the right order and missing.
I returned my ex-library as soon as i got it. I was offended. It's disgusting and also illegal.
It's advertised really well. He's a popular author in the US.
I want Kamuy next. I was thinking of stacking my manga like you do.
Beautiful, like a final evolution of what mine could be.
This is mine so far, got voynich coming in the mail soon
Only thing I own and I havent even read it. Its tucked away so Im too lazy to take a pic
Quick question, I hope I'm not going on a touchy subject but, believing all here to be well-adjusted socially, do girls ever marvel at your manga collections?
Most girls I've been lucky enough to get in my room spend a good hour or so just staring and checking my manga out and I dunno I mean I'm not a Chad normie I just wanted to know if anybody else here has had that happen.
Get in the relationship before showing the collections. Girls will like you for whatever you are after you established a bond. They are like blank slates you can mold and will eventually work up to appreciating your collection. Speaking from experience
Set them free from their box, user
Not him but how are you supposed to unbox a fig? I got like 4 boxed and no idea how to get em out without pliers
What do you mean? Just pull them out. Sometimes they have twist ties but those should be obvious
Had them boxed for a while because I was unsure of whether or not I'd be renewing my lease.Guess it's about time.
I can't decide if I want to buy manga or gunpla and I am too poor to afford both.
I used to have like a 40 gallon barrel full of shonen jumps.
Gave it away, I'd read them all in high school.
I'd have to have some money to throw around before I'd invest in manga, it would be cool, I like supporting things I like when I can.
I couldn't stand digital manga, but I gave in a few years ago.
Gunpla probably. You wouldn't read most manga more than once anyway.
use your love of paperback manga as a reason to get more money and work harder, user
>Tfw poor but buy manga and mecha musume kits anyway
Just do both dude. One month buy gunpla and the other buy manga
To tell you the truth, I don’t typically buy manga, I buy books. I’m not saying that in a snobbish way. I buy classics - Tolstoy, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, James Joyce, Tennyson, Rilke, Goethe, William Gaddis, Julio Cortazar, Ford Madox Ford.
But I put my HxH volumes on the same shelves as them. Proudly. There’s a feeling that resonates deeply with me - that the storming of the palace onward is capital-A ART. That the series’ main focus is to render humanity and nothing more or less. The way all the extremes of human nature are displayed in the Chimera Ant arc feels like reading a sort of contemporary Odyssey. It is epic in the original sense of the word -- something majestic that shines light on the nature of living.
this is such a thing a hxh fan would say/do
Late response, but thanks for the suggestion. I'll check it out.
I checked the listing history and the seller had them all marked as paperbacks instead of hardcovers/paw prints. I like that they are sturdier than the paperback (and YP in particular has shitty thin covers) but it rattles my shelf autism.
I plan on going to Japan soon and buy some manga to help with my mediocre Japanese. Does anyone know if these are still sold new?
>Black Lagoon 14 vol
>Gunnm 9 vol
>Gundam the Origin 24 vol
>Ghost in the shell 3 vol
>Jojo 63 vol
>Takizawa-san 2 vol
>Pluto 8 vol
>Trigun 3 vol
>Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind 7 vol
>Neon Genesis Evangelion 14 vol
Even used, you can easily find manga in good to great condition. Can't speak for those particular examples, though.
>Not in a snobbish way
>Immediately acts like a complete snob
>hxh fan

Dont really buy manga ever. However I did go to japan and wanted to bring some stuff back.
Cant read em yet but have been learning Japanese every day so hopefully I can read it like a true homo
I don't collect much, so I have the large print Pandora Hearts set, MeruPuri (1-4), Dungeon Meshi (1-6) and Vampire Knight (1-12).
I still like Hino's art so I won't get rid of the Vampire Knight volumes but I don't really want to finish it either.
Everything else I have is 1-2 volumes of old shoujo Viz titles I should have gotten rid of when I got rid of my Nana volumes.
Gimme that biscuit vol 1
Need to properly place those top ones
second half
will need another bookcase soon
cute nendos
>Those shelves
Holy shit user, but a new bookcase that shits about to break
I found a raw issue of Cowboy Bebop in a hobby shop once in the middle of fucking nowhere Montana. Asked the clerk if they had anymore raw manga and he looked at me like a sexual deviant.
>Infinite Jest
Is it fun to work at a library?
>Spice & Wolf
Great taste my based user
Shit, they localized nanashi no asterism?
building mine slowly. also just got the berserk deluxe. it was worth it
I only have Nausicaa and Summit of the Gods.
Wonderful.
I would recommend it to anyone who doesn't get bored of putting books on shelves all day long.
Your collection is 100% high quality at least.
im don't read much manga so the only thing i have is the first volume of Citrus lol, i was thinking about getting a zenpadS8 because reading manga in bed seems comfy desu. If i would start buying manga for real i would buy it in jap, im not against localized or anything it's just that it feels more authentic.
just started my collection about a year ago
I don't have a shelf since my room is small, so my manga and LNs just pile up on the floor in the corner. Still have unboxed figures next to them too.
CUTE KAOS CUTE COCOA, MUCH COMFY 9/10
comfy
Build a fort out of them.
Ran out of shelf space so I had to start putting anime in with my manga
Wish I could afford as many berserk volumes as you
I don't have too many of them. I'm probably going to buy a bunch on my trip to Japan though.
Well one day you can build a fort.
Thanks user, when I build one you will be allowed in.
I will bring cocoa!
Some of those Zelda manga are pretty good. I have the Ocarina of Time one from Akira Himekawa but I want the Majora's Mask one too.
That Spike fig looks terrible, closeup?
It was an impulse buy
Definitely not worth it looking back on it
His body looks alright but the face and especially the hair is pretty bad. His hair isn't even the right color.
If I were that dude, I'd keep my copy of Diary of a Wimpy Kid closer to my collection of manga than to my copy of Kant's Critique of Pure Reason or the Upanishads. Manga isn't exactly made for emotionally mature people.
> Manga isn't exactly made for emotionally mature people.
This. You have to have some serious emotional problems to read manga.
Do you keep manga and LNs in English and Japanese on the same bookshelf? How far away do you your copy of the Bible or Plato's Dialogues from your manga? Do you keep h-manga separate from non-h manga?
By the way, would you keep philosophy alongside literary fiction or alongside scientific treatises?
Is D&G's A Thousand Plateaux crypto-anime?
Is Uzumaki the Watchmen of Yea Forums?
I don't know, I see it on Yea Forums shelves as well.
I don't have anything in japanese, I'm not going to buy a book I can't read.
And my bible is on the lowest shelf below my Berserk Omni and my Grant Morrison comics, but my copy of Plato's Dialogues is between Sailor Moon and Yotsuba, for some reason.
I have all three True Tenchi between American Gods by Neil Gaiman and Broca's Brain by Carl Sagan.
It was the only place they'd fit.
>F!
Disgusting
Behind the HxH there's some One Piece and Yotsuba, above the frame is Ranma, and not on the shelf is Naruto and its art books as well as the first 21 volumes of Bleach

Good taste, currently finished all but spice & wolf. On vol 2 and havent watched the anime, thoroughly enjoying it.
I really hope thats one of the removable covers for volume 4, I'd have to replace the whole book if it had the nonremovable cover.
'Tis is.

ohhh babey
i needs me some of his books.
I'd post mine but I need to organize it more and i'm sleepy as shit. Oh well. Another time.
One volume of Murcielago is certainly better taste than no volumes of Murcielago, but why?
I have all of fma, all of eva, jojo part 1,2 and half of 3, volumes 1-15 of heroaca, 1-18 of AoT, ghost in the shell and uzumaki
Also a couple of random naruto volumes.
The other day i was trying to calculate how much money it would cost me if i had to actually buy phisical copies of all the manga ive ever read and the number was over 3.300 dollars.
Started my collection about 1 year ago but I have my eyes on a few more series. Just waiting for sales.

I just bought hardcovers of Uuzumaki and Tomie on account of your picture reminding me I don't own them and I have some money. Rush delivery for today. Have only read the majority of Uzumaki, haven't read Tomie.
