SG has its problems yeah, but the story, thrill, characters are all top notch. one of the best vn. SG0 was just an example of a failed attempt to force a sequel to a good story. The creators were just trying to milk more money from the fans

There's a lot of circlejerking by people having never read the VN that the anime is worst, but by experience, the VN is worst than the anime.
The anime has some pacing issues and some weird bits at the end, when they mesh several routes together, and Kagari.
The VN has pacing issues throughout, a weirdly bizarre and inconsistent storyline, Kagari, and a habit of making no sense at all. When the VN was released we more or less all acknowledged it was bad.
Sorry fags, but the anime is objectively better than the VN. It's far from perfect because the source material is far worse, but it did an okay job with the material at hand. If not for some hiccups at the very end and some wonky animation I'd say they did a tremendous job with the material at end.
