Dragon Ball on TV was the first show I watched after I became aware that anime was a thing and that not every cartoon on TV was made in Germany. Technically the first anime I ever watched was Heidi because Germany had a ton of old anime airing dubbed on TV.

After watching these two shows, I was immediately disillusioned. Then I got to Black Lagoon and Chinese Electric Batman, and I thought, "what's the worst that could happen".
Now I'm 30 and debating neuro-psychology and thermodynamics in magical girl threads.

I got into stuff like Pokemon and Digimon when I was around seven. Seven years later, at fourteen I started actively seeking out Japanese cartoons like Naruto etc. and Bleach and Gundam. Fast forward twenty years later at twenty-seven I hate every anime I ever saw, but at the same time that hate is the only thing I still feel nowadays.
