In no order Jojo Hunter x Hunter Samurai Champloo Fist of the North Star Dragonball
That is probably the five I enjoyed the most when I first watched/read them. They maybe aren't the best but I sure as shit enjoyed them when I was a kid
TTGL and Eva had manga adaptations in shonen magazines (Eva later moved to a seinen magazine) and aired in primetime on TV. CB's harder to place since it aired at night and its only manga related things were shojo but they were different anyway.
Manga adaptations are irrelevant since they're all anime-original, and the vast majority of people on Yea Forums have never read the manga anyway. Shounen isn't just a demographic, it's a manga demographic specifically as its media context applies to magazines, which is why 少年 has the implict 漫画, otherwise you're just asking for "Yea Forums's favorite young boy". >primetime on TV You know this doesn't just apply to shonen adaptations, right? It just means it's agreeable toward a general audience and they had enough money and interest to pay for a golden timeslot. Further than that, this retarded timeslot criteria would imply shounen adaptations that air late-night (like Neverland) are somehow not or "lesser" shonen.

>Shaman King on pic >Shaman King not on poll WHERE THE FUCK IS IT YOU FUCKING FAGGOT OP???????

>Shounen isn't just a demographic, it's a manga demographic I agree with this but I think they're still transferable to some degree to anime. Anime still have demographics they're targeting. Whether they're similar to shonen/shojo/etc though I don't know. But if the anime gets an adaptation that isn't completely different I think using whatever the demographic of the manga is works to some extent.

The poll had a limited amount of options unfortunately.
That is why Champloo is listed in the OP but not the poll, but the time I had realised, I didn't feel like omitting anything in the poll.

Well when you think about the animes listed they are in general analogous shonen manga. It's hard to believe something like TTGL would be in anything but Shonen Jump. I understand what you are saying though, it's like saying 'what is your favourite adult-fiction graphic novel movie'.

>tfw no proper Jump Superstars/Jump Ultimate Stars sequel That game was my gateway to the WSJ brand and manga in general. Good times.
>strictly seinen non-shonen on the list >actual shonen are not on the list >even seinen that resemble shonen are not on the list this whole thread is a complete flop
