Doga Kobo is only good if they work on lolis.

Their newest only has 4koma as "extra" 1 page bits at the end of every chapter. The anime they're making is all the full deal. I hope they use the 4koma panels for commercial eyecatch chibi work, though.

I've enjoyed everything Dogakobo has brought but for some reason nothing hit me quite like Umaru.
Something about it makes me happy while watching it, I dunno.

The manga is fantastic. It's an slice-of-life comedy manga that is also instructional about how to perform exercises with correct form and live a healthier life using lewd teen girls with reaction images galore. Shounen, shoujo, chibi, JOJO impression, Baki, it references everything and crossovers Kengan Asura basically every chapter. There's a chapter literally titles, "Lifts of the North Star" where they learn how to perform the OHP.

You should check it out. And, no, they probably won't make the anime be filled with scenes of obscenely buffed 'roid girls. It'll just be what you see in that trailer for most the actual form, the summary is that same body in the skimpiest underwear possible, and then a joke page where they strike a Jojo's Bizarre Adventure pose.
