That's all for today. Don't expect me to explain all of the Suzukaze Combo's jokes. Many of them are beyond human comprehension.
These two are too big brained for me.
I watched the Skeychbook anime a long time ago, but I think I remember Sora speaking. Does she not speak at all in the manga?
She does, but not very often.
the teacher's cock is cute
Thanks OP
at one point she starts "speaking" through floating text
on another note, Sketchbook is now over with the last chapter being released today
17 year run, that's pretty respectable
heh, this comic has a Negishi feel to it more than it does a Kasugano-sensei
I hope it gets a deserving end.
So we gonna do every chapter from here on out, or are there some untranslated?
a nonchalant ending seems appropriate but if the google translated synopsis I read is right then the last chapter is about a new teacher bringing in new students, kinda like the first chapter where Kasugano-sensei wants new students to come
Not OP so I don't really know how long they will but but I know Sketchbook scans stopped a year ago at chapter 149, that means there's around 51 chapters untranslated (last one being chapter 208 I'm going to guess), there's also a special 10 year aniversary comic that is untranslated as well
I may have a solution to the untranslated chapters, but not sure if it will pan out.
I've also got a copy of the latest magazine on order. Expect a report on that soon.
What great runs for GA Art Design and Sketchbook.
When the anime aired I was the same age as the characters. It feels sort of nice they finally get to graduate.
Thanks OP. I find myself relating to the antics.
I want these two to lick my dick.
I'm going to miss it.
That cover parallel with the final anime episode.
It's the end of the art student era.
End of wholesome art students.
>Not perfectly positioning the fan so both you and the chime are hit
Autism-chan doesn't go far enough.
It is exactly 1 meter from the knuckles of one hand to the shoulder of my other arm. I use this to always stealthily know the measurement of things.
Ah, the days before youtube... She's not talking about this youtube.com
I instinctively looked over to my glass to make sure it was full when reading this
Does sensei hate animals or something?
Thanks OP.
That's a pretty good run, looks like a charming SoL, so I'm glad it was popular enough to run such a long period.
>She's not talking about this
I think that's too new.
youtube.com
They used that song for at least 10 years, including when this was written, so maybe.
>Does sensei hate animals or something?
Just the opposite. She likes chickens way too much.
I love that weather map, reminds me of a NES game.
The N64 was going to be released in 2 months. That would mean it was dated.
I... didn't know this. I only recently started reading the raws on the mag garden website, too. This makes me considerably sad.
The mono no aware gets us all in the end.
I love the series but I'm not particularly sad about it ending, considering how long it went for. Also it seems that Totan Kobako is going straight into a new series after Sketchbook
My feelings are around the lines of "you did a good job"
a certain someone is missing I see
also Kate being at the center of the front line, straight priorities
Was that drawn by the same artist? The art style looks way different.
Art styles evolve a lot in over 15 years.
there's that and I think at one point the mangaka changes to digital drawing, it gets pretty noticeable later on
Reminds me of recording music off the radio and getting the DJ talking over it.
Gives me an excuse to rewatch it to be sure you weren't just hearing her internal monologue. Skimming through the manga I can't find any time she speaks directly. Just thought bubbles and things like where the others interpret her non-verbal communication.
Also ending any hope for S2. Not that Junichi Sato repeatedly shooting it down in interviews wasn't enough.
>I may have a solution to the untranslated chapters, but not sure if it will pan out.
what do you have in mind, user?
So who won the Daichi bowl?
>Gives me an excuse to rewatch it to be sure you weren't just hearing her internal monologue.
The easiest example is the very last scene.
I do some scanlation work already. I've got pretty good relations with some other groups too. So just seeing if anyone is interested helping to pick it back up.
>Just thought bubbles and things like (You), where the others interpret her non-verbal communication.
bubble-less floating text is a pretty good way to present a gentle voice/speech.
In Sora's case, after a certain point her thought text become actual speech
god bless you user
and if nothing comes out of it god bless you still, since you have tried
>In Sora's case, after a certain point her thought text become actual speech
another example of it
wafu
Ah, that's right. Those were all anime-original though. The ones with Minamo and the very last scene. We'll have to see if Kobako decided to end the manga the same way.
TFW you open one of the manga and a bookmark falls out that you didn't realize was in there. (Middle school Kuga-sempai a cute.)
I see it now. Kobako illustrates her speaking out loud with solid lines on either side on the words. But if there's no lines, or dots, it's not verbal.
Chapter 138 has an example of it, but I don't have it scanned. But she does talk a lot more often in later books.
yup, that seems to be the case
it's there on the raws but the scanlators on the panel I gave seem to have cleaned those lines out
Getting the daily treat of Sketchbook every day is nice
Here's the page.
oops
yup, checks out
well, that and >where the others interpret her non-verbal communication.
seem to be the case.
Font could also be the determining factor since her speech seems to use something that feels a bit more like handwriting
Except there's the first part of that page. Nagisa hears her say "Mont Blanc".
yep, the font seem to be a better factor to determine her speech
Her thoughts get yet another font, and sometimes there's another different one for labels.
Cheers OP.
Terrible.
Just a little bit weird but overall nice and sorta funny.
Be happy that it last.
>dislikes logic
Women, am I right fellas?
Thanks
Would have loved the anime more if it kept that super deformed style.
Sensei: the ultimate woman.
