Tusk mostly. I'm not even opposed to the male love interest, but he was the worst character on the show, a bland self-insert character only he's not the protagonist so you wouldn't even want to self-insert into him. If Ange needed a male love interest they should've made a male version of basically any of the girls and it would've been better.

The fact it opened with a pretty graphic rape scene for Tokyo Broadcast standards didn't exactly endear it to anyone but certain fetishists.

it's less the fact that the pan blocked a bullet than the fact that it that somehow let her survive being hit by a car off a cliff which then exploded. Also Tusk survives his own suicide bombing with explosives strapped to his chest for no good reason at all. I was 100% convinced that they were a trick by Embryo when they returned because it completely breaks the suspension of disbelief otherwise

It needed more unique dragons. Hell it needed more Dragon girls too. Also Maid and Tusk surviving literal suicide attacks was too ridonkulous, that shit went way too far off the rails.

A prequel with Embryo trying to make a backup Aura using it's cells and his own to create a human that eventually plotline transitions into Jill's Liberatus version 1.0 would be nice.

Fills out the geneology requirements of the 1st MC for using the Vellkiss since Embryo would be the "dad", fills out the "How the fuck would Jill and crew know dragons are humies" shenaniganery, fills out the someone on the team is an actual literal dragon thing, the MC transition could be from Salamandine's mom swooping in for an earlier almost full squad 1 wipe, then the first MC can become the battle hardened vengeful trainer for Jill and the crew.

Jill herself instructs Ange about Salamandine's mech so she had to have seen it at least once before, which means SOMEONE had to fight it off / standstill.

In fac, there was an explanation. In the post ed skit of the episode in which Tusk reappears his VA claims that he survived because he was wearing fireproof clothing. Anges VA responded by saying something to the extend of "How convenient!".
The director later confirmed that this is the canonical explanation.
