There are some endearing characters, but it get pretty shitty. Soulburner duels Go (who has a new deck) and Aoi (who gets two new avatars and then a new deck), everybody starts using other summoning methods for some reason, Yusaku duels Bohman three more times over the course of eight more episodes, the villains send everybody into separate areas so they can sit around before getting their two-part duels, culminating in everyone being dead as Playmaker does spouts kizuna over an underwhelming four-part duel. There are some characters you may find endearing, such as or Lightning, and some cute moments like the Brave Max duel and pic related, but it's hard to recommend it.

If they make a fuckton more "Rokket X" cards like Tracer and Synchron which have actually effects and less "Xrokket Dragon" cards that are still just vanillas then Rokkets should come out better than expected.

Worlds have a different banlist so the tcg/ocg meta doesn't always translate well into it.

If you want to activate their effects when they are targeted by a Link, that text wouldn't work because it's the Rokket that has to activate it's effect.

Aoi and Go literally regress in character and the big villain is incredibly forgettable, but all the other new characters are excellent, especially Lightning. All of his duels are some of the best in Vrains. It's all worth watching for the setup for the final arc and meeting all the Ignis even if the main conflict was mediocre

Regress is probably the wrong term, she just doesn't make good on any of the setup she got in the first arc. She jobs to Soulcuck 8 seconds after her "makeover" and resolve to make a difference, the Miyu shit comes out of fucking nowhere and never goes anywhere, and her relationship with Aqua is paper-thin. She jobs to Bohman and the subplot connecting him to Haru never matters, so now she's just remembered as a child killer.

As much attention is given out to Pendulum there must be simple focus to brining ritual card mechanics to evolve further. Link cards coloring scheme similar to Pendulum if they were Red colored cards the background would the signal of change. True, having only 3 zones of Spell and Trap is bad, but is not like nowadays we use them a lot. We are fine for the most part.

I don't really know myself. I have tried them (actually got them) and they are more or less like Magician and Qlis in terms of Search and Special. Only difference is that you gather Counters to do it. But it's not that really hard to do actually. The deck is more of like doing other things while also Pendulum Summoning. Unless you were referring to another thing?
