You ever happen to be on amazon and see some anime BD's and wonder who the fuck is buying this shit?

I want to lick Megumi’s anus
Buyfagging is still higher on the totem pole than streamfagging. Especially if you're circumventing garbage localization and buying raw BDs.
I do
same
I buy a lot of them, mostly the crappy collector edition ones.
I only buy manga tbqh.
Why though? It's not like manga where you can atleast appreciate the art in person with a physical copy, pirated anime and physical blu-rays are the same exact shit
I'd buy them if I had money, so I understand the urge. Of personal favorites though, there's a lot of decent but forgettable anime produced every season that makes me wonder how it moves any BDs at all.
Trying to balance out the years of pirating, and I like having shelves filled with stuff.
People who make 6 figures and have no kids or thots to drain their savings, zoomer-kun.
>being this much of a manchild
>implying that having the money to buy BDs is th same as buying BDs
Anime is for nerds.
Where do you think you are?
Have sex
>what are bonuses
Its not really important now because all anime looks like complete garbage, but getting the highest possible quality version of Akira or GitS is a big deal and enhances the experience greatly.
Id literally buy empty bluray boxes/the piece of paper around it for every show I've liked.
I even tried printing the covers, but you can't find the scanded art unless it's a movie or the most famous anime ever. Most missing the part with the name on the thin side.
paying upwards to 60 bucks for a season would put me at a few thousand dollars for a conversation starter/dust catcher/decoration
for some reason in my country you can only buy anime in 4 episode chunks for 99% of the shows, totalling in 120 bucks for a twelve episode show and 250 for a two cour.
Even taking in runtime, for a 2-3 hour movie I pay ~20, here I get ~80 for 40+
There's a deal going on where you can buy $500 worth of BDs for $60, the catch being you don't know what the BDs are.
Should I buy it?
BDs are like investing in fine art. You can sell some for 500% returns in only a few years
