These are the anime films of this decade. Say something about them.

your name is fucking shit
All horseshit Ghibli clones with generic artstyle
I don’t see Non Non Biyori Vacation in there you barney
green stars = movies of the decade
blue stars = contenders for movie of the decade
Biggest disappointments:
-Pancreas because it went from being good to stereotypical garbage within 20 minutes.
-Mirai because it went from masterpiece levels to exposition dump, shoddy CG and "on the nose" during the final 30 minutes
-Anthem because it's very well visually directed and animated but just so fucking shit on every other front
-This list because you've chosen to include gook flicks instead of genuinely exceptional movies such as Colorful
Biggest surprises:
-Happiness Road because I didn't expect Chinese propaganda to be genuinely good for once
-Whale because it was the first chinese feature film since the 60s with genuinely great animation
-Unko's Inn because the television show was pretty lukeawrm and I didn't expect the film to be much better
>not Dragon Ball Super Broly
Madoka Rebellion should be on there for sure.
How could you even forget?
Imagine being the autistic manchild who posted this
I take pride in my mental condition
cos its literal faeces
Oh you're stupid then
So is Evangelion 3.33 but it's on there
Really solid ranking. Hope Tenki no Ko will break some records too.
Actually, scratch Junk Head. I thought it referred to the short. Didn't see the full movie.
>shoddy CG
The demon train was obviously made that way in order to look alien and scary to Kun, just like the stop motion puppet controller. The final sequence does go a bit overboard, but the vignettes he sees are so simple yet powerful that I forgive it.
What's shit about it?
>the most visually impressive anime film ever made is shit
Watch more movies.
>wow, haven't heard of some of those in the top rows and they seem interesting
>chink shit
Now I'm not saying they might not be good films but by the definition they ain't anime.
I refuse to believe for someone who doesn't even realize that most movies on the top row haven't even been made available yet could possibly have seen more than half the chart.
>someone who doesn't even realize that most movies on the top row haven't even been made available yet
There is nothing in my post that indicates that at all.
That's one gay ass definition.
>Madoka Rebellion not on the list
>but the fucking awful Steins;Gate movie and 3.33 is
Fuck off with your recommendation threads.
Most of them look like shit compared to Violet Evergarden. Kimi no nawa is the only one that looks notably better. I guess The Garden of Words looks a slightly better too but it doesn't do environmental reflection as nicely.
That poster is a retard and wrong. But KNNW is not the most visually impressive. The award for that goes to Redline.
This.
The animation is more visually impressive in Redline, the art though, not as much as Your Name
/thread
A silent voice > your name
deal w/ it nerds
Both are shit.
Agreed.
Also maquia and i want to eat your pancreas is good. Every other movie i watched was shit, especially
You put Chinese and Korean movies in it (not anime)
