AFO is actually the hero of he manga. While he does act somewhat shady at times as a whole he is a truly heroic character. Think about it.

1. He wants love and real friendship between people. This is what heroes want.
2. He sacrifices himself so that his adopted son and his friends can escape.
3. He was the only one that cared about Tomura. If society had gotten their hands on the child Tomura they would have locked him up for the catastrophe he accidentally caused.
4. Hero Society has shown itself to be incredibly corrupt an immoral.
5. AFO removed quirks from criminals and gave these powers to people that had been attacked by the criminals.
6. AFO removed quirks that peopel hated, and gave these quirks to peopel that actually wanted them.
7. AFO gathered a lot of quirks so that he could be stronger than anyone and act as a leader when needed to.
8. Even as a leader he still allowed people to do what they wanted and not be constrained by hypocrite laws that were created to force people to not be themselves.

His brother being a massive faggot tried to attack his brother but instead of being killed was simply ignored. His hatred for his brother allowed his quirk to travel from user to user, growing in strength as the original hatred continued to target to good man that is AFO.

It completely made me lose all hope in him. So far if we're tracking improvement we have Deku, Ochako, Kaminari, and Tsuyu as the top students in terms of raw martial prowess, with the caveat that while Deku is getting a whole bunch of new and powerful quirks, his body is either stagnating or in fact growing much weaker.

This is shown when Shinso is able to hand him his ass 1v1 with no quirks, when earlier it's said "Yeah Shinso is weaker than Midoriya physically"

I always think Ochako is the one to shine eventually, but I think Tsuyu might be the one to blindside us all in terms of heroism.

Nah, the way he says it makes it pretty obvious he had some sort of a definite way he perceived a hero to be, and probably planned for Deku to become just that. Be it the next All Might, or him giving up his dream in self-sacrifice, anything really, but he had a pretty good idea. But writing the manga has made him reconsider. Again I don't think that's a bad thing necessarily, but I very much doubt he has had a very clear plan for the manga from the start. He might have one now, but even then I doubt it since we've had arcs that feel very disconnected back to back. Minor character progression and nothing else really, I don't feel like we're any closer to the end and I honestly don't think Hori feels like that either. I think he just writes his characters into different situations and learns with them

Directly after this you see him get fired from his job, suggesting that he didn't get more than like a slap on the wrist and told to do some community service. I.E he was 16 when he was fired. Now you see him run around and commit crimes. He doesn't get caught but is on the most wanted list. This suggest he couldn't have been running rampant for more than a year or two. Then all his clones revolt. How long do you think a mentally broken Twice (still being on the most wanted list) would be able to hide himself? All this suggest that Twice can't possibly be more than 18-19 years old.

Nah, I’d say he always had a final fight in mind between Deku and Shiggy somehow, but he was never sure how far he would get with the series and how much he would get to flesh out. He’s said that he had wanted 30 volumes but that the series was only about halfway during the Pro-Hero arc, so now we’re getting a lot of random character chapters and focus arcs that he clearly never had in mind from the start but got ideas for along the way.

Only time they hold back is when they want to capture the villains so that they can get information from them. Just look at All Might's punches. When he saved Deku from the mud-villain, how the hell did he know that his punch wouldn't kill the criminal? The truth is, he didn't. He punched hard enough to make the villains body shatter into little pieces. Because not even All might consider villains "human" and entitled to human rights.

Apprehend is not the same thing as arrest. Apprehending just means that they are legally allowed to keep a villain in place when waiting for the police. There was no such mention of killing. The Police-chief was just saying that it was illegal for people without a license to use their quirks like that at all. He never said anything about heroes not being allowed to kill villains at their own digression.

Unless the government tries to hurry up and execute AfO, I don't expect anything to happen for years. Getting through Tartarus' defenses and to AfO before the automatic systems kill him to prevent escape is going to be tough, and will require planning and great power.
