Is anime dying?

You can really tell how fucking abysmal the current season is. There's not a single worthwhile thread on the catalogue right now. What happened? How come seasonal anime has been taking such a massive and consistent nosedive ever since 2017? I don't even remember the last time we had 6 terrible sesaons in a row.

No but your mom is.

Bottchi is cute and funny so this thread is irrelevant

Hitori Bocchi
Sarazanmai
Carole and Tuesday
Kimetsu no Yaiba
Are all fine anime, what else do you want

No it isn't you entitled Amerilard.

We've got the Furuba remake, Senko-san, Gunjou no Magmel, and more shorts worth watching than I've seen in a long time. Overall volume might be down but I'm enjoying most of what's airing.

>faggots crying about this season being shit
>next season is going to have 4 isekai+3 generic fantasy anime airing at the same time
hahahahaha

Yea Forums is design is waifus and shitposting, not for "worthwhile threads", you see we cannot make threads about One Punch Man anymore

Summer is gonna be fucking great.

Bocchi is garbage. It feels like it was written by Kaos from Comic Girls.

>Carole and Tuesday
Even if you only compare to other westaboo shows that is still quite terrible

Anime won't kill itself by being shit. The only thing that will kill it is outside influences like political correctness coming from American companies that want to make it more "safe" to market to stupid burgers. And the amount of people that will get angry by this post shows that it's already happening.

>Hitori Bocchi
Garbage everything. No, Aru doesn't save this pile of shit.
>Sarazanmai
Complete dogshit and even worse than YuriKuma. This hack literally keeps making the same show, but somehow manages to get worse at it.
>Carole and Tuesday
Back to your cave, tranny
>Kimetsu no Yaiba
[worried Constanza face]

>one role this season
>season turns to shit
really makes you think

>Implying Fruits Basket isn't the anime of the decade

>DanMachi sequel
>3 new isekais
>Vinland Saga
>Takagi-san

I'm hyped already.

Test

Stop relying on currently airing shows. Develop your own taste and find older shows that interest you instead of relying on Yea Forums to tell you which one is the most popular this season.

That doesn't work once you've actually seen thousands of anime from the 40s to the 10s. All I am left with are seasonals.

>Joshikousei
looks like kino is back on the menu boys, I really like that manga it's like a girl version of daily lives of highschool boys

Time to quit the medium buddy. Or move onto to movies and shorts.

>I already watched all the anime.
Sure you did buddy.

>There's not a single worthwhile thread on the catalogue right now.
The one dying is Yea Forums not anime.

>Or move onto to movies and shorts
I think I've watched close every single standalone movie ever made. The only ones left are summaries and franchise movies that I won't touch. Same with shorts.

>Is anime dying?
No, you just somehow became a casual.
Next question?

>deluding yourself into thinking you've watched everything
Sounds like depression m8.

didnt even know bocchi had an anime

I am at the point at which I literally filter the AniDB databse by movies and check what movies are left for me to watch that aren't Detective Conan, CGL, Pokemon, Dragonball or other franchise movies. Can't believe the garbage I've watched myself. Cheap shit like Ao Oni or off model animation like Hong Kil-dong. Although there are a bunch I can't watch because I can't find them anywhere. That much is true.

based

Anime died 15 years ago.

I'm glad that this season exists just to shut up those retards crying about seasons having too much anime and somehow leading to worse quality or something.

>KYS zoomer
Kill yourself, you underaged redditor.

I've been enjoying new anime more. Can't see this nosedive bullcrap you mentioned. But maybe it's just you being left behind because "muh old days" is always better right?

I hate watching slideshows which sometimes have like a minute of good animation.
I hate speedlines and i hate random pans.
I hate shitty amateurish storyboarding.
I hate shitty pacing.
I hate shitty phoned-in soundtracks.
I hate 99% of this worthless medium.
Manga is way better.
Miyazaki was fucking right.

This season is ass

>sarzansami good
pfhahahha only fujos say and watch that garbage
