I'm still amazed at the scale Oda is aiming for in this arc. We've barely seen anything of the full scale this will have by the end, with Apoo or the 4 remaining Flying Six yet to have even an appearance, and Big Mom's crew appearing basically once.

I'm dreading the times when the arc surpasses 100 chapter and people's whining reaches new levels because they can't accept a long story taking its time (and at the same time rushing through, since a lot of details are omitted).

He would be better off writing just the Act 1 of each arc and letting some other mangaka take over the rest.

So far the arc has been a lot more about Wano than about Kaidou, but that's just because it'll be very long.

Whilst doing that, order all the senior Beast Pirate jailers to move the most important prisoners away from the situation unfolding using whatever means necessary. For prisoners like Luffy, who they still want to recruit, load him down with seastone and carry him out of there safely. For other prisoners like random mooks and Kidd, leave them to their fate or execute them on the spot.

Outside of that, the best you can do is distract Big Mom and try to limit the damage whilst waiting for support, either for Big Mom herself or for the movement of prisoners to more secure locations with a heavier guard.
