Thoughts on Chainsaw Man lads? I just "marathoned" all 24 chapters. Not gonna lie, I enjoyed the shit out of it. Power is just good Zero Two and I'd love an adaptation.
it's honestly kinda refreshing to see someone with such simple motives. He just wants to keep his cushy job so he can eat and touch some tiddies
I didn't like Fire Punch but I really like this one, hope it doesn't get the axe. Denji feels like a real teenager
Nolan Butler
Shit series, but still better than Fire Punch.
Jacob Turner
Not as cool as Fire Punch but still better than 99% of current Jump.

it recently took an absolutely insane direction. The writer is being incredibly ballsy. I hope it pays off. I'm certainly going to keep reading because I have no idea what's coming next.
Also the setting is great. And that curse devil shit last chapter was honestly just fucking inspired. Love the out of panel hand.
The curse demon was so good. I do think it was a little early to make such a drastic turn honestly. I'm fine with what he did. But it just felt too soon. I felt like I just started feeling stuff for these characters, it would hurt more if it was a bit later.
Justin Jones
The paneling has become my favorite about the series so so far and I really like all these crazy turns but Aki better be fucking alive dammit
Christian Allen
Give it to the studio that made Devilman Crybaby. They were made for eachother
Liam Ross
I wouldn't give it to the studio as much as I would give it to the director. Masaaki Yuasa and Chainsaw man are basically made for one another.
That being said the manga does give me mad Devilman Crybaby vibes
Kayden Sanchez
I like it so much I'm buying the physical releases
Lucas Smith
Is it summer already?
Gavin Lopez
I honestly don't see what everyone's raving about. To me it feels like a less-good Dorohedoro.
This effect with the hand is something I've seen over and over again, yet people always treat it like a novel trick.
Justin Davis
More like Kemonosume vibes.
Jose Morales
I got a feeling he probably is...in one form or another. Considering the Curse Devil sounds really OP, the contract for said demon most likely have some really horrendous backlash involved
Brayden Nguyen
The contract with curse demon is giving away lifespain, while it does reduces on how longer he could live it doesn't mean instant death.
Brayden King
Dorohedoro was mediocre and you know it. The art was great but the narrative was a bigger mess then Fire Punch.
Noah Evans
Dorohedoro is just the quintessential action-comfy manga. Now is easy to confuse it with your gritty edgy shonen of the week.
Dominic Reyes
The visual storytelling is good. But the plot is inconsistent and relies too much on the shock factor. I don't know which is more overrated, this one or Jujutsu.
Brayden Ortiz
>shock factor How so?
Elijah Russell
I wouldn't miss it if it got axed.
Jordan Davis
Outside this current arc there really hasn't been any shock factor.
Parker Green
I'm waiting for it to reach 100 chapter like I always do with every jump series so I know it won't get the axe any time soon.
Noah James
Dorohedoro's plot was fine up until the end, where it just kind of petered out. It might have seemed a mess on the surface, but I always felt a solid foundation underneath all the intricacies.
I also found Dorohedoro's characters way more lovable than those in Chansawman. I was attached to them almost instantly. (This may say more about my love of big boobies than anything else.)
It's easily one of best ongoing series in WSJ right now. Don't let the shitters tell you otherwise.
Nolan Anderson
The main problem with Dorohedoro is that the author didn’t seem to know what she wanted to do with the story. That’s why a punk/trash setting with so many great characters and power levels felt too comfy. There wasn’t a big evil, not even Hole, and it just felt a violent slice of life. I wouldn’t mind if this turned into a genre because is actually nice to read something like this. But when the manga started as a adventure manga full of violence and then you get scary MCs being nice and protecting their nakamas, you just feel confused.
Sebastian Barnes
Viz translation is out. don't bother, they butchered it, even the last page spread.
Fuck off Dorohedoro was amazing This although I like CSM
Eli Moore
that's part of the reason I have no clue where this series is going. In any other manga he would have unsheathed the nail late in the story against a high-ranking foe. But this is right at the beginning.
Luke Green
The gore-y, puke-y, cliffhanger-y things.
Matthew Campbell
it's shit, but i can see it getting an anime
Juan Cook
Gore is just something you'd expect in a series about a guy who chainsaws devils to death.
Charles Long
From what I remember from Fire Punch, he doesn't write his stuff trying to drag the story as much as possible, I don't think he is trying to make another long running shounen, even if it would be more profitable for him. And also looking at Fire Punch, he doesn't really give a shit about having a big battle with super really people early on and then deescalate it after that.
