>make show about a guy who is a supposed failure at life with no job or future prospects
>has a cute girl approach him and fall in love with him
Make show about a guy who is a supposed failure at life with no job or future prospects
>fall in love with him
She's a fucking psycopath trying to manipulate him into falling in love with her so she has someone dependent on her. She doesn't actually care about him.
>Implying
She could have had done that with anyone else though
>She doesn't actually care about him
So the last episode isn't canon, got it.
If you are not overweight fat man they are lot of women willing to take advantage of you
Women go for loser guys. If you are a winner, then women are of no use to you. Disregard females, a aquire personal success.
Doubt, he had no money or nothing of worth
the idea that he gets his innermost fantasy fulfilled and it doesn't actually make him happy
he only becomes happy when he's actually forced to make it on his own and actually helps another person
Taking charge of your life and doing what needs to be done is kind of a recurring theme in this show.
>and fall in love with him
Very questionable statement there
>has a cute girl approach him and fall in love with him
Every time
>Very questionable statement there
Yeah let's ignore the part where they hold hands and almost kiss
It's wish fulfillment for the author, with a good dose of paranoia about her peppered in. Even in his wish fulfillment fantasies the author can't allow himself to be happy.
But he is desperate. And she was desperate for attention. He was the perfect victim, the sort of guy that will glorify her farts.
She already comes from a well off family, money wasn't a factor in the first place.
Women want attention but your claim was that anyone can give it in NHKs circumstances which is simply not true.
I'm not the guy you initially responded to. I'm and just entered the thread.
In the anime, sure, but they don't get that close in the original novel.
Hell, not even Satou and the otaku neighbor guy get that close, and he doesn't play some voice of reason role in the slightest. The novel is overall more bleak and lacks shit like the pyramid scheme and internet suicide cult arcs. It makes for a better read
Sounds like the novel is pretty terrible then
She wanted someone that was more pathetic than her in order to feel superior. Her options were limited.
Manga ending is better
>I want my happy ending. Everything needs to be peaches and cream, even when it doesn't make sense.
Faggots like you are why the anime was shit.
No, it isn’t.
It wasn’t.
Nigga what. All three are good at what they do.
If you think Misaki was a positive aspect to his life, you werent paying attention
>I need my depressing ending, good things aren't allowed to happen. >Everything and everyone should be miserable
>got him to leave the house, be more social, land a job, and eventually a gf
>not positive
Satou did all that shit himself
she didnt fall in love with him read the manga retard newfag
She was both a positive and negative aspect in his life.
also no where in the anime did She fall in low with him. pay attention next ime
Yeah sure.
Except for the job part, that was because of Misaki’s influence.
>make show about a guy who is a supposed failure at life with no job or future prospects
>nobody approaches him just like it happens in real life
>whole show revolves around his unchanged daily routine
>both him and the audience get bored to death
Good job, retard
She was going to kill herself because Satou rejected her love contract. Also she was visibly upset by seeing Satou arm and arm with Hitomi.
>She's a fucking psycopath trying to manipulate him into falling in love with her so she has someone dependent on her. She doesn't actually care about him.
So basicaly how the average Western woman acts when she decides to finally settle down with a naive nice guy?
retard she didnt fallin love with him at all and she was upset with him because she was jealous not because she loved him she didnt want her getting in the way of her games. REARD THE MANGA you fucking retard she never fell in love with you you virign
nah, she's not a golddigger looking for someone with a stable income, she just wants a sense of superiority and control
that's why she's after a hikikomori and not an engineer
>using virgin as an insult
Where do you think you are?
OP’s post is talking about the anime, not the manga. I don’t know why you keep bringing up the manga since the anime and manga are different in terms of the overall story, and is completely irrelevant to this thread anyway. Sounds like you’re the real retard here, not me.
The true hero was Satou's dad who cut his allowance and everything else
>has a cute girl approach him
she's scary as fuck, I would of never answered the door
How many times will you post this thread and get the same answers before getting tired?
>he becomes happy
Except he doesn't he even realizes that the time he spent faffing around with Yamazaki and Misaki was and would be probably the best time of his life in hindsight and a lot of that was pretty miserable.
>Taking charge of your life and doing what needs to be done is kind of a recurring theme in this show.
Yamazaki desperately tries to persue his dream of becoming a game designer untill it becomes untenable and he falls in line and accepts that he should just let his family decide his future for him. Satou pussies out of killing himself twice. The show doesn't advocate doing shit. It's just a semi-biographical story about a hikkki doing hikki things.
He would have gotten the job at the bookstore if it weren't for his freak coincidence meeting with Misaki there. The job he gets at the end of the anime/novel is explicitly because his parents are no longer able/willing to pay for his appartment.
>Yamazaki desperately tries to persue his dream of becoming a game designer untill it becomes untenable and he falls in line and accepts that he should just let his family decide his future for him
He still had to accept that conclusion. He could have kept floundering indefinitely trying to make his game dream come true. But eventually he realized that he wasn't all that great and made the DECISION to do what his family wanted.
I know that. I said besides the job part, Satou would not have made the progress he did if it weren’t for Misaki’s counseling. Most times when Satou decided to skip out on meeting with Misaki, he ended up becoming worse off because of it.
Is that the plot of the new Adam Sandler movie?
>progress
He didn't make progress. He just lived his life. Most of the fun or intresting things that happened were prompted by chance meetings, with his sempai, with Yamazaki and Misaki. He met people he enjoyed and parted with them.
He'd read a boatload of self help books, one pretentious teen that thinks she knows it all isn't going to matter one bit.
NHK ni Youkousou is a book without an agenda. It's author seems to have continued to go through some dark places despite some relative succes as a novelist.
He had people leading him by the hand throughout most of the story, though. Him answering the door in the beginning and getting a job at the end were some of the only real decisions he made by himself. If it weren’t for Misaki, Yamazaki, Hitomi, and even Megumi, he would have spent his entire life as a hikikomori. My point is that Satou is easily led by others and that’s why he does what he does.
