Yeah but in nippon stories at least the protagonist does something to achieve recognition and conquers this way one girl after another. Not the literally "Female gets introduced as some superstar/princess/top grader/best beauty" and immidiately in the same chapter becomes MC's bitch with no context at all.

Well the S class dudes are incredibly powerful and needed to protect the world and he had a reason to kill vengeance guy, if I remember correctly the US guys could barely control him and basically did them a favor.

The Shadow Sovereign, whose power MC inherited, is leagues above the other Sovereigns who are leagues above Special Authority-rank hunters, who are leagues above S-ranks. The whole System and leveling was there just to turn him into a proper host for that power.
In the most recently translated chapters MC is so ridiculously powerful, he could easily solo the entire humankind.

What was the purpose of that? I have no idea.

In the books his growth is actually slower paced, in the manga it does feel rushed imo after they introduced the shadow sovereigns or the story started to go downhill. The ending is just fucking trash.

Gook copies Hunter X Hunter and does a giants invasion on Japan. There is also no relevant build up and bearable relationship building with the one girl he chose and eventually marries. This series is flawed as fuck and terribly hard to defend without anything interesting about it that can be suggested as counterpoints.

The plot is indeed not unique but the romance is the most realistic I've seen in any fiction from Asia.

It's initially published in Korean and then translated to Japanese by third party, while Boichi only publishes in manga magazine.

The thing I hated most for the leveling system in this story is the complete absence of diminishing returns. By the time he cleared the demons everything was so trivial yet he still got multiple levels from boss monsters to further balloon his already insane stats.
