I had always thought that doujin manga were a one time thing, printed for and sold at a comicket, and then only available secondhand. However when visiting Mandarake in Tokyo I realised there were both 1 chapter volumes, A4 format and very thin ; and volumes compiling multiple chapters, with the usual format for manga.
Is that usual, or do only the most successful circles print compilations?
Are those compilations reprinted, making hoarding less relevant? (As I could buy a volume at any point in the future.)

Soft white rubber eraser is the only other choice but probably won't do anything. You'd have to remove the layer of paint that has the fabric stain on it but that would also mess up the finish of the paint. IMO it's just something you have to live it on those figures.

Those stains don't come out. The dye from the fabric bleeds in too deeply to do anything without completely stripping off the paint.

I'd say something like an Architect recolor would make a better starting point, being a much shorter build so there's much less risk of getting burnt out, while still addressing the biggest complaints with early releases (poor color separation in places and limited articulation).
Also much easier on the wallet and especially on shelf space.

The groove in the top where the glass inserts into is about 1/8th of an inch offset, so all 3 glass walls don't line up with the groove. I've found a single listing on suruga-ya. Everything else is 100% bootleg. Can I generally trust suruga-ya to be legit? Or is it a similar situation to ebay or other user-marketplaces where bootleggers might be able to peddle their shit? The buyfags guide says that suruga-ya is guaranteed legit, but the listing looks like it's put up by a user. Do they vet sellers? No pictures and nothing in the description about the quality (new, open, etc).

Something similar happened to me with this figure (pic not mine), Since this thing has interchangeable arms. The peg that sustains the arm with the lance broke off and the arm fell with the peg still inside. The kicker: the male peg was on the main body and the female hole was in the arm, so the peg itself took off with the arm part and was impossible to remove.

I tried many things to salvage the figure, but since the longass flag-like sleeve things are solid plastic the figure couldn't sustain itself for long on just superglue, and the plastic was much softer around the breaking points, and had tons of plastic frills so I couldn't produce a peg with a metal clip and a small drill. I even tried to superglue the arm with putty and 2-part epoxy but the arm always eventually came in a few weeks off due to its weigh.

Had to make drastic desicion to discard the sleeved arms in order to salvage the figure. A shame, as I really liked the lance.

Has anyone ordered a preowned item from Amiami recently that was Rated B? Weren't those supposed to be mostly okay?
