Just found this manga online, and thought it has an interesting premise. Honestly reminds me Tokyo Ghoul back when it was good.
The corollary to that is Tokyo Ghoul went to shit, and all good things end at some point. I'm going to dump the first chapter though because the series seems to have potential. The only thing that makes me nervous is the lolibaba features prominently in the first couple pages, as I'm hoping for a gritty vampire manga.
The only cringe here is you, you austistic faggot.
Henry Stewart
I hear you, hoping they won't go too over the top with the loli. Hopefully it's just to help the series pick up sales until the story gets going strong enough to sustain itself without too much pandering.
Shit. I didn't even notice that on the first page.
What the fuck?
Juan Williams
damn you looked interesting so i read the other 4 chapters i can see thing going to shit really fast. fucking lolis name is draculia then later the vampires are outside in the sunlight. this is going to be some cliche ass shit with non vampire vampires.
Robert Smith
They're still plenty monstrous despite the lack of weakness to sunlight. This ain't no Twilight shitshow by any margin.

>5 Chapters translated >Translations already stalled. Life is a constant bitter disappointment.
Benjamin Reed
Have the translations already stalled?
>Last translated chapter was 1 month ago
Shiiit
Eli Bailey
too be fair looking at the raws, nothing has really happened except maybe a flashback im not sure. cause there's another male dude who looks like the mc but older and colder probably why she wanted to save the mc
Brandon Young
Doesnt matter. I can't read the raws. I want to read this series. Some people enjoy manga that isn't all action.
Brandon Cook
I cant read raws either I just get a general tone for it
Cooper Kelly
Then you cant say for sure that "nothing" has happened. And that "nothing" that you describe may just be exactly what I want to read.
So I am disappointed that the translations have stalled.
Ayden Cruz
Isn't this like the third time someone dumped this just this month? Not that I mind
Caleb Allen
Is it? I missed the first two times then.
Michael Ortiz
If we're speaking purely canonically, vampires aren't weak to sunlight. That idea started with a misinterpretation of a silent film.
Jeremiah Thompson
and isn't only lowclass vampires weak to sunlight? I mean the girl was called progenitor so that would make her draculina
Gabriel Lopez
> corollary > Math major detected
Oliver Rivera
As I recall Dracula doesn't actually make lesser vampires; he kills his victims so I'm not sure.
Carson Ward
I was like >this is gonna be fu- AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH
Elijah Baker
that's what im saying, it makes sense for the mc to be walking in sunlight.
Josiah Cruz
On top of that, I think they mention in the manga he's only "half" or something anyway so I don't see why he shouldn't.
Kayden Cook
No it didn't you fucking snob
Get some culture and read a book faggot
Logan Hernandez
Dracula was only mildly inconvenienced by sunlight. It was outright lethal to Orlok in the film. What part of that has got your jimmies so rustled?
Connor Hughes
what silent flm? nosferatu?
James Phillips
The part where you think vampire mythos started with Dracula
Michael Lewis
not that guy but it didn't? I mean most mediums ive seen/read always start as dracula as the origin or are you talking about real life lore?
Lucas Mitchell
>what is reading comprehension
Dominic Miller
Yes. Based... anywhere from loosely to closely on Stoker's Dracula.
Many cultures had many mythologically similar traditions, but I defy you to point out a point in history other than Stoker who codified and solidified the "vampire" as a literary and mythological entity.
Connor Collins
Popularizing something doesn't make it a new origin point.
And that still doesn't change that sunlight hurting vampires came from a mistranslation of a film is fucking wrong.
ya'll niggers stupid Twilight fags
Owen Roberts
This. Does she at least have an adult form? The guy looks middle age.
Matthew Morgan
I Hope not
Jonathan Walker
Vampires were popularized with Bram Stoker's "Dracula".
While sunlight wasn't fatal to Dracula in the books, it did weaken him considerably.
Xavier Parker
Tolkien didn't invent the vast majority of the creatures he included in LotR, but he popularized a conception of them that did not previously exist and defined their identity going forward. Same case here.
Also, it isn't a "mistranslation" really. It's a silent film so... The film changed the portrayal to be something more "cinematic" and not what was actually written by Stoker. In this case, the film popularized an aspect of vampires (being destroyed by sunlight) and added it to the common conception of them. That is not to say it is any less valid. I said in my first post, "purely canonical," which to my mind is Stoker's work - much like Lovecraft's corpus is to something like Cthulhu. That's not to say others can't build on and shape the mythos of Cthulhu, but there is certainly a core canon.
John Morales
I Hope there is way more Loli pandering fuck faggots.
Jayden Robinson
This face reminds me of something, but I can't think of what at the moment.
Oliver Bell
Go see a dentist, user
Andrew Walker
>from the author of boku girl Wow, massive shift from his previous work. Surprised I didn't guess it looking at the art.
Xavier Hill
>the final boss is also the first boss Poor Keigo playing life on hard mode. Though I do wonder how long he was standing there turned the wrong way for dramatic purposes.
Adam Baker
I mean, In my mind they he's poised he was walking super fast and then stopped. but it would be wierder if he was facing forward while still posing like that
Joseph Cox
Picked up.
Ian Moore
I'll ready for the middle age gold husbando tier guy.
Austin Thompson
Did he explode? Or burn up? What's going on here?
Adam Smith
I don't get this either. They say all the blood was drained from the corpses, but wouldn't they be really skinny if so since blood runs through everything even bones and muscle? There's also very clearly blood soaked all over the place like damn vampires aren't very clean either. Also why do they make such crazy things like this? Does being a vampire also come with being psychopathic?
Wyatt Scott
he burst kind of like the way vampires did in blade 1 at the end >since blood runs through everything even bones and muscle? its been a long time since highschool but I am 100% positive that this is wrong >Does being a vampire also come with being psychopathic? probably.
