Wow fucked up how I made AOTY in like 30 seconds I'd like to thank myself I couldn't have done it without me.
Show with a knight as the MC
Oh but what is this? Not a good way to start a thread OP
Wolfsmund and Hawkwood both meet those requirements and aren't that great
Sauce on this show
wolfsmund does not have a true main character and it revolves more around some shitty peasant rebels. After Wolfsmund fell it is trash.
Hawkwood I only read a little but my only gripe would be the weird art
>asking for a sauce on Yea Forums

Are you the same user who posted the other recent knight threads? I can't deny that I'd enjoy an anime featuring a lawful good chivalrous character but that doesn't really mesh well with anime trends. The MC is supposed to be an average joe kind of good guy that generally does the common sense good thing but also touches little girls.
just came to say FUCK ORANGEFAGS
bye
Wolfsmund IS great what the fuck are you talking about
the main character is William Tell's son, did you even read it?
ah so that sperg becamse mc? I dropped it when Wulfsmund fell and it turned into rebel biased bullshit
You're only going to be disappointed if I tell you.
Will there be cute girls in it too? This is of the upmost importance and cannot be overlooked.
>no MMO or RPG mechanics
Fuck me I'll take 20.
>meat cleaver against a fucking Penetrating Sword
Rip cutie.
Nothing in the dark high fantasy genre does it better than Berserk.
>GoT: the anime
nah, I'm fine.
Fuck this. I want a show with female knight/male mage dynamic again.
how did this end again?
It didn't
The author prefers to write about gay vampires now
Just make this:
A painfully generic battle shounen show with a insufferably generic knight MC for the first two episodes and then episode 3 has people die horribly has devastating consequences and the MC makes a transition from retarded justice seeking shounen to absolute gray-area badass, Think a blend of Fate:Zero, Berserk and Madoka Magica.
Goblin Slayer exists.
Sounds like your typical revenge isekai shit.
Of course.
Just make it like that from the get go, that works in a little girl show like Meguca but not so much in others.
But it is set in current day Japan.
It's about the substance not the framework you retarded homosexual
>giving sauce when saucenao works just fine
Don't get smug, you're a fag like those other two.
this had no right being that good
Fuck off and kill yourselves.
so the manga is original ending? man I wish it was getting translated
Akame Ga Kill! but happens in the first episode.
There's really nothing like this as a show, maybe Madoka or AGK sort of comes close. To be frank the industry doesn't see things like that as profitable and nobody wants to be the act that follows Berserk in that genre.
lmao try telling that to the shit eaters who lap up garbage isekai shows every season
And it's hot garbage.
> muh gray area morality
Is there anything more boring and generic than a fence-sitting edgelord?
The best trope is someone who's seen some shit yet sticks to their principles instead of "I've turned my back on mankind" garbage.
desu even a copy of berserk at this point would be a welcome thing
fuck off
Just give me some proper half swording. Anywhere, doesn't have to even be in a good anime, I just wanna see it.
this guy gets it
>show with a knight as the MC

>no MMO or RPG mechanics
>MC is a loli
Wow fucked up how I made AOTY in like 30 seconds I'd like to thank myself I couldn't have done it without me.
So its Kamen Rider
He was only relevant in like 6 or 7 chapters. He's technically the main character, but it's still mainly an ensemble story.
Lets not pretend the people in power were anything but villainous in the context of the story. The rebels were ruthless sure, but their enemies were even worse.
People are willing to cash in on every other popular type of story. Why did every balk at proper medieval fantasy? It's bizarre.
Especially since Berserk is old at this point, you'd think someone else might try to take a shot since there aren't exactly that may medieval stories without any meta gimmicks (even Goblin Slayer has the framing story that it's all just a DnD game).
Just give me some proper shield usage. I'm sick of seeing nonmagical shield-users just standing there, taking direct hits to the shield. I want to see deflections, shield punches cracking some teeth, and shield charges that end with a hard backhand and combo into a thrust with the weapon.
Knights had a main character who mainly fought with half swording.
Also one of the only black protagonists in a manga that I can think of, but that's neither here nor there.
The biggest flaw with the story was it felt like it was constantly on the verge of being cancelled (and chances are it was), so it zooms through arcs at the speed of light, even when there was definitely room for more time to be spent.
You just described the average medieval soldier.
Knights is gritty and with suffering a torture.
