it's shitty flash anime
only good thing to come out of netflix
I liked it. It's far from perfect but the music, animation, and messages all came together very well. It got me into into Yuasa and Nagai too, so that's a plus
Very good. Want more anime that are this bloody and sexual that aren’t hentai are trash
i watched it like 4 times and i never got emotionally attached to the characters
first few devil scenes are cool but the philosophical shit is tiring
I guess he's the devil,man.
i thought it was dumb and meaningless in the end. but apparently all nagaishit is like that. maybe that's also why i can't stand kill la kill. but then again this apparently wasn't a faithful adaptation in the first place.
it was good for the most part though. it just didn't lead up to anything except shock value.
Only good thing to come out of netflix (2)
The original manga and earlier anime are a little too thick for a modern anime watcher, but this reinterpretation makes it easier for most zoomer fags like myself.
Also, original mang is a massive inspiration to the creation of berserk, basically the first [true] horror/blood/gore manga.
I liked it a lot. I watched it right after finishing the Devilman manga. Don't usually call for adaptations that stray from the source material but Crybaby did a good job of pulling it off. Not everything worked for me but some of it did. The track stuff especially I thought was kind of weird at the beginning but they ended up doing some cool stuff with it. The second half of episode 9 and then episode 10 especially stand out for me as being great. I'm glad it was made.
