This series has some of the worst character development arcs I have ever fucking seen.
This series has some of the worst character development arcs I have ever fucking seen
It's literally Naruto but with super heroes instead of ninjas and they have not 1 but 2 "Sasuke" type characters.
Part 2 and 4 of Jojo are even worse
Yeah it's pretty fucking bad, westerners like capeshit though so it'll continue to be popular.
Hori does better with villains and Endeavour than the hero side in developing them.
Dragon's dream was better than the entirety of MHA
Christ at least Jotaro actually got some character development in Part 4 and smiled more.
Bakugo. Holy shit. HOLY FUCKING SHIT HE'S STILL A HOT TEMPERED LITTLE PRICK.
Wrong
>at least Jotaro actually got some character development in Part 4
No he didn't
Jotaro not being able to even show his face to Dio's son and feeling guilty about making him fatherless despite Dio killing his friend is a far better development than "HURR DURR ITS DEKU'S FAULT THAT BAKU IS A NIGGER WHO CAN'T CONTROL HIMSELF"
Everything about Baku is pretty much "if a guy starts harassing you because you rubbed him the wrong way then it's your fault and you should be understanding when he assaults you"
That's the most beta show ever, irl the only proper way to deal with a guy like Baku is to wait till hes alone and crack his head open with a pipe
You say shit about MBA, prepare to argue with a lot of 12 year olds.
I thought he blamed Deku for everything.
OP's thread is about BNHA but these niggers are talking about jojo for some reason.
How the hell could we get an arc as based as the Pro Hero arc then get such a terrible arc like the Class A v Class B arc? Hori you fucking hack. Pro Hero arc is 10/10 for best boy Hawks alone
DB & One Faggot autist spotted.
Triggered
Complaining about this shit did not need another thread.
Kys
This arc brought up the worse shitposters
Wrong
>O MY WISHING ENERGY
>O MY 7 QUIRKS
MHA deserves these shitposters
Yes, this is a big reason why I dropped it.
A metaphor and a plot point that was hinted at for years?
Poorly
Endeavor is a shit character. He's not nuanced, not interesting. The only reason anyone likes him is because they want to suck his dick.
No you're just stupid
Then that's at least one thing I have in common with MHA
SHUT UP!!!! BOKU NO HERO ACADEMIA IS THE BEST ANIME EVER!! KYS NIGGER!!!1!!
Jesus, this level of cope is sad
cringe
You guys know he was being Ironic right.
it's also one of the worst in arbitrariness. it's honestly a cluster fuck. glad I dropped it when A and B class had that peen measuring contest.
Not an argument.
>BNHA
>having any character development at all
Yeah he did, he's no longer a brooding asshole and has matured.
Why is it so fun to watch every single other fanbase on Yea Forums bully herotards
I have to question how many anime/manga have people seen/read when they make such overblown statements on whatever the hype show of the moment is. BnH is pretty shit, but anyone user with decent weebshit literacy should have come across many fundamentally broken series too shit for even casuals to like
Every thread should revolve into jojos at some point
You guys are obsessed.
This.
>Not even mentioning O MY LEGS
It went downhill after the first few chapters of the Overhaul arc. It showed some promise with Gentle and the High-End Noumu but went to shit again right afterwards.
The current arc is awful. It's such a lazy and blatant excuse to give the main antagonists power-ups because Hori hasn't done anything relevant with them for a bajillion chapters that it hurts.
The chaacter development is trash. The characters themselves are nice and cute and comfy. Just don't look deeper than skin deep for this show
BNHA is a series for the kids and mentally challenged.
MHA is too popular right now.
Based
Based
You never had one herocuck
No he didn't
>arbitrariness
The fact that you typed this shit out in ernest makes me question your IQ
That you're too stupid to follow a shounen manga?
>This series has some of the worst character development arcs I have ever fucking seen.
How many anime have you watched?
>Following mha
No thank you
That's a lie and you know it. This series has no character development.
>Why do we cope, Master Bruce?
Horikoshi is shit at writing fights. All he ever comes up with so that the good guys can win is asspulls. The first time was when Deku went MUH MILLION PERCENT, and well of course that was a metaphor, and just to "hype himself up". But then came the "OH! THAT'S RIGHT, I CAN USE MUH LEGS!" and at that point, I knew we would see more of this in the future but oh man, it sure has gone down the garbage route. Rewind quirk was a bit fishy and convinient but whatever. However when wishing energy and 7 quirks came around, I didn't give it another thought and dropped this shit. The quality of the writing just nosedived after OfA vs AfO. Now I just hate it when I see Deku's face. It reminds me of when I actually liked this garbage.
Dragon Ball Z. Bleach. Naruto. Black Lagoon. Space Dandy. Lupin The 3rd. One Piece. Berserk. Cowboy Bebop. JJBA. Black Clover. Hunter X Hunter. Tenchi Muyo. When They Cry. Kemono Friends. Hellsing Ultimate. Gurren Lagann. Kill La Kill. Outlaw Star. Ghost In The Shell. FLCL. and Zombie Land Saga.
I reject your hypothesis.
We're passed the hypothesis stage, experiments have concluded that bnha is shit.
God all my priors are so fucking confirmed rn
I have no idea what that means. I just have some pretty mixed taste okay?
he's still like 15 or 16 and jotaro in part 4 is almost 30 years old...
Damn I know Soma is cancelled but fuck guys keep it to yourselves.
>shonen
>bad character development
In other news the water is wet
Knowing anime logic with ages and shit, that's pretty much not an excuse.
>part 2
>bad
how could one hold such an opinion
No JoJo part is bad, pre egypt SC comes the close but it still managed to be entertaining
These sluts are the only good thing hori ever produced
Literally the only reason this trash heap gets any love.
I agree, I dropped the series at all might vs one for all because it was just a repeat of all might vs nomu but done even worse
Protip: Half the people who hate BNHA are herofags themselves.
I say this as an unrepentant herofag.
Good they should know their series sucks
The character development is standard, when they actually do it. The issue is there's no fucking plot because the heroes not only outnumber the villains 100:1, but they're generally stronger too. Not to mention UA is just the Ivy League for heroes so literally everyone is some super attractive preppy kid with a bright future. What's the point? Deku doesn't even get hurt when he fights now, a necessary step but it took away what little conflict existed.
The actual concept is fine, but there's no real intimidating threat and the villains are aimless. The only reason conflict exists at all is because of surprise attacks, otherwise everything it totally fine all the time.
yep
ligit only reason kids watch it, fucking virgins
Horikoshi really fucking sucks at writing villains.
>introduces the Villain League in the first arc
>gives them non-mook members and a stake in the conflict during the Stain arc
>makes them the main antagonists of the Forest Training + Kamino Ward arc and introduces their leader, All for One
>proceeds to have AfO get BTFO in his first on-screen fight and get thrown in jain
>despite Shigaraki being hailed as the leader of the next generation of villains, the Villan League proceeds to barely do shit though the next few arcs, where the main antagonist is either some new cunt or there is no antagonist at all
>despite obtaining the Quirk drug and seemingly having some sort of plan, the next arc where they are relevant reveals they don't really have any plan and they have been fucking around in the middle of nowhere all along
>by that point their powerlevel has become so low that Hori has to spend an entire fucking arc giving them a trainer, a doctor with access to Nomu and having a new villain group put them in a situation that CONVENIENTLY allows them to get power-ups
No wonder most shounen authors just have their main villains be a bunch of overpowered cunts that the MC can't hope to survive against till he becomes extremely powerful. This "villains become stronger at a similar pace than the good guys" seemed like an interesting concept at first but it's clear he doesn't have the slightest idea of how to execute it and it's ruined by the fact that Deku's own powerlevel develops in the most sudden and retarded ways.
Bullshit. One Piece is the most popular thing in the fucking planet and it’s far more entertaining and well-writing. Even the author of it has a great personality.
Jotaro was never brooding. He's always been calm tough guy. He's still calm tough guy in part4 just with a touch of teacher thrown in.
I agree
How has this guy made 10,000 shitty comics and not improved at all?
Series is extreme anal reddit
BASED
Could you elaborate what you mean by arbitrariness.
>ernest
The fact you can't even use words properly makes me question yours.
In other words. Make an arc for the villains before you do the concept. It’s so simple. You just need to come up with one good villain and have that fucker progress into his developed self after working with many organizations and helping out with their plans. Then, show how that villain has helped to progress the organization and his powers. And maybe make him a final boss.
>Friendship power
>Unlimited twice works
Lmao this shit is cringe as fuck
OH MY 7 QUIRKS BESTOWED UPON SOME LITTLE FAGGOT INSTEAD OF THE BEST AND STRONGEST HERO TO EVER EXSIST
Am I the only one who doesn't mind the seven quirks thing? Hiro made the retarded decision of having the All Might vs. All for One happen so early, and now we know what the power level limits are. Literally the only thing left to do is up the ante and try to Gurren Lagann it with the power levels on all fronts. It's not ideal but that's what fucking happens when you have the two strongest characters fight each other only for it to be a boring slugfest. The fuck else are we supposed to look forward to after that fight?
If you think character development must mean character transformation you're retarded
Does toga using ochako’s quirk count as her fight scene, meaning we’ll have to wait even longer for ochako to get an actual fight again
Ochako is for cute, not fighting. Also her quirk is stupid and kinda useless in a world that's about to experience exponential growth in power levels. Unless they buff her up to near Accelerator levels of touching shit and making it kill things then who cares?
Her quirk is useful for Himiko
