Yeah, that's one of the best traits of Araki's art. A lot of Manga artists never do that. The best one that does something similar is Fujimoto in Fire Punch or Chainsaw Man, but Araki is a better artist than him overall.

Those are all cartoonish - barraging someone with a thousand punches isn't realistic. Smashing someone's head to the point it explodes across a wall is something that you can see happening.

On a structural level I’ve always thought Giorno was one of Araki’s absolute finest designs, and that’s probably a big part of why I love him despite how much shit he gets. Imagine him with the dark black uniform, wine red ladybugs and shoes, and the same gold stylings. He can keep his deep blue manga eyes or even pick up Dio’s orangey ones, he’d look like a mafioso god either way.

I think it's pretty interesting to see Araki's style of protagonists shift with every part, Gio being the first non-reactionary protagonist is pretty neat. He feels like he's on a different type of adventure than the previous JoJos, and I love the subtle traits he's inherited from both Dio and Jonathan without either dominating his character so he's still his own person, not the results of the two.

After 80 chapters I'm still not completely sure what Soft and Wet does.
It started out as shitty little bubbles that steal stuff, then they were just bubbles that could store things, now they just feel like they're basically indestructible and can do fucking anything.

They’re actually tiny strings.

At first, Soft and Wet could "plunder" things, both physical and abstract (friction, the senses and others).

Now, Soft and Wet's bubbles can move around physical objects and they can also blow up, to inflict damage to Josuke's enemies in various ways (mostly by using the object they are storing).

He's been using them more like Kira used his bubbles, as cushions and bombs. But it's true ability was to "give and take" anything that went into the bubbles, like sight, sounds, and space

the idea of a stand just picking up a gun to shoot at something is hilarious

GER is probably stronger all-round but it wins due to meta logic. GER is a supposedly unbeatable enemy which was literally handed to Giorno by another character. Tusk Act 4 is the direct result of Johnny's own perseverance and hard work. You can write interesting battles and scenarios with Tusk Act 4, whereas you can't with GER. If Araki wrote a fight between them, Giorno would be left wondering how he could have possibly lost while Johnny would be wondering how he possibly won.

I just realised that body parts exchange between Josufemi and Kira is homage/reference to Dio stealing Jonathan body.

i like the way the jojo OVA handled the tripwires in this scene. the OVA made them tiny, almost invisible, and made it look like there were thousands of them completely surrounding dio.

the manga and anime both leave all these massive gaps between the strands.

Or Jotaro cleaving a hole in Captain Tennile's head for him to drown in the ocean? Or Jolyne straight up murdering her lawyer? Or Gio killing pretty much anything that moved before he trapped a guy in an infinite deathloop?
He is also said to be kind of an asshole a lot when he isn't.
People often say that he's too cold and aggressive when talking to others, but they seem to forget how every single person he's met has tried to kill him or fuck him over, if you were him you'd act suspicious of everyone, the exception being Yasuho with which he's like a lost child around.
Not to mention Kira himself wasn't an evil asshole either, he was willing to die if that meant protecting Josefumi, no idea what's wrong with the Fun Fun Fun guy though, perhaps the guy was using his Stand for filthy stuff (controlling women, having killed a girl) and Kira knew it.

Sorry for asking to be spoonfed but i rarely watch or read anime/manga so my knowledge is limited.
I really like JoJo and now that I'm caught up with JJL I'm really mad about monthly wait.
I would really appreciate if you would help me find mangas or anime that are in similar tone to jojo so i could read them while waiting for JJL.
I.e. cool weird designs, interesting antagonists, serious story tone, gore, etc.
But especially i like realistic art-style of SBR and JJL.
So far i my self found only Hunter x Hunter, Made in Abyss, Berserk.
Haven't read them yet but I've heard that they are kinda similar to jojo and overall well received.

Jojo is so beloved because it's so unique, you will not find any anime/manga that does the same thing, the ones you stated are not bad but all have some fault, Berserk seems like the closest match looking at your interessts, a big problem with manga with a more serious tone is that they tend to lean very heavily into the edgy side of things.
