ITT: shows whose MC's seiyuu disappeared

Here we discuss shows where the MC's seiyuu failed to get more roles after that show ended.

Starting with Fall 2018's prime example.

Maybe she doesn't want to be a VA? Who are the others?

Numakura, Uchida, and Suzaki are still getting roles. Haven't heard from Noguchi since Spyce ended. Anzai got a role this season in Bocchi, but it was a background role.

>Midriff ninjas

It should have been a success but japan fails me yet again

That girl from kill me baby

The druggie one Even the band slut (minus the bassits) gets roles
Also girl in Yugioh was related in some sex cultist

Maybe she went to college like a good girl.

Spyce deserved much better.

Momo's VA deserved more roles. To think that her career crashed and burned after her very first main role, after all the promotions it got, is kind of sad to see.

best c3

Whatever happened to Yukki and Yuno's VAs from Mirai Nikki?

She probably didnt want to give up her virginity to fat old producers

Is she still doing live action roles?

Isn't she in Lapis Re:LiGHTs? When is that coming out?

Finding out that the female lead of Koi Kaze was voiced by a girl who was 16 at the time and who had never had or has had another role besides that one only added to the absolute crushing anguish that anime generates.

Did she continue acting or did she simply vanish into thin air?

The latter as far as I'm aware.

How did they find her in the first place?

>Finding out that the female lead of Koi Kaze was voiced by a girl who was 16 at the time and who had never had or has had another role besides that one
Also, how and when did you find out?

I want to lick Momo's armpits and navel

That info is on the voice actress' MAL entry.

Have you tried checking her Japanese Wikipedia entry (if it has one)?

>How did they find her in the first place?
Some producers have some weird connection, like how ZUN found a mangaka for his Forbidden Scrollery series, despite said artist never published any work let alone Touhou doujin,

This cosplayer had a really nice voice and I haven't heard her ever since.

That kansi girl from sakurasou who voiced a pony tail girl.
That kansai ben was fucking perfect.

She voiced Yurine in Jashin-chan

Oh it's true, they sound really different so I never noticed

What's so special about Momo's VA anyway? Why do people seem to care about her so much? She wasn't anyone special and neither was her show. Those Tsukikage uniforms were still a miracle of the universe though.

That is a good idea.

She actually did have another small role in anime in Boogiepop Phantom. Then there's a handful of other roles though only two were after Koi Kaze, and now nothing for 11 years.

She might not be seriously pursuing it.

Last I heard she was doing softcore?

The one who got arrested for cocaine.

She's pregnant now.

Is she gonna make it bros?

>Haven't heard from Noguchi since Spyce ended
Noguchi is still very active in the im@s scene. Plus, she's the Seiyuu for the Main Heroine in the upcoming Atelier game.

What about Anzai?

She has some bit roles in Mobage here and there and some minor 2D idolshit franchises. She didn't fall off the map completely, but she's hardly in anything relevant or of note.

Meanwhile another VA who was also debutting on DGKB show is keep getting steady on more roles.

Release the spyce was enjoyable but once it ended it faded.

Why didn't she get another main role in an anime?

What a seductive and sultry nose for a pig nosed qt.

Sure, she isn't super popular but she always nails the roles she's given. She was great as Azami in active raid and her role as Usami in Bijutsubu is actually casting perfection, there isn't a single seiyuu out there that would fit that character better than her

Please everyone in this thread pay respects to Ichigo. While Rin went on to have a modest career with a few really good roles like Sacchan from Mitsuboshi Colors and Futaba had her career explode in popularity, Ichigo was left behind in obscurity. Having them return together in Akiba's Trip was truly a wonder to behold, and that i pray every day for studio Gonzo to give to us again. I'd watch anything with the three of them in it.

I can't keep up with seiyuu these days. It's hard to tell which ones have disappeared, which ones are literally just new, and which ones are just being kept busy/employed by some random idol franchise.

Anime MC roles always either go to:
a.) An established Seiyuu
b.) A newbie

The auditioning ground is very competitive. You're fighting against established seiyuu or agencies trying to push their newly hired talents. Once you get past the honeymoon phase where your agency is trying to push you as the newly hired talent to watch out for, it's gonna be really hard to claw your way up.

Besides, an anime role isn't exactly the most attractive role for a seiyuu nowadays. You want them roles in long-running multimedia franchises. A good chunk of anime nowadays are one-off advertisements for manga/LNs. Most of them never getting subsequent seasons. So that's a dead end. The odd original show are gambles too, since they might not make it big either.

Alternatively, she could go for the dubbing focused track of work. There are alot of Seiyuu who don't really do a lot of anime stuff, but have a huge work portfolio of dubbing stuff from overseas into Japanese. But that's not really something someone on Yea Forums would be interested in.

Kill yourself, MKL. This is beyond pathetic.

Aya's carer is almost over.
That girl from kill me baby was jailed.
I don't know about the Yu-Gi-Oh one.

>tfw Maya's VA also sang Kamichu's OP

Wasn't that little girl friend of ZUNs wife?

Why does he care so much about Momo's VA? Did she do something in particular?

In the JAV industry, yes.

Aren't most of them more of theater actress rather than regular seiyuu?

God I fucking loved her weird voice.

Maya's VA was the girl who sang Kamichu's OP, but yes most of them are generally theater actors apart from Mimorin.

He's an autist. He's also an idolfag and a former Narutard.

I thought it was because of some anime convention or something?

Maybe her butt hurts

Didn't like virtually everyone from Munto and almost everyone from Nichijou disappear?

Hina's VA from Hinamatsuri, don't think she got another main role.

animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/people.php?id=125178

Shiori Mutou was in Nobunagun in 2014 but since then she's only had a few minor roles. I don't understand the process of debuting in a main role and then playing extras.

Poor Ringo-chan

Daily reminder that a guy that does LSD did art for a official 2hu book.

/thread

It seems to be a curse. When someone's very first role is a lead, more often than not they tend to disappear afterwards.

She doesn't count

Among New Game's main cast, only Aoba's career caught fire. Hifumi's VA has been in barely anything since.

Who?

>Aya's carer is almost over.
Are you retarded? She's the new voice for Mylene Jenius in Macross

Who?

The girl from Macross 7

Literally obsessed

What happened to the Nichijou VAs?

Three flops in a row in 2018.
Nothing in 2019.

Who?

what makes a seiyuu successful or not?
sure there's her whole voice quality and such, but what makes them famous isn't stuff like programs and radios? maybe even contacts with other seiyuus
what is the wild card here?

Attached: 1308442309448.jpg (593x607, 64K)

how much she puts out

-good voice
-good acting
-good looks
-good entertainer (events/radio etc.)

Most importantly:
-luck in landing a popular character in a megahit otaku franchise

Mostly, it's landing a good role that earns recognition. But it seems you really need to be the full package to make it to the top.

Serval from KF

>won't fuck the bassist
>she's now the bassist
What a twist

>someone hasn't gotten a job in less than 6 months
Whoa. Whoa whoa whoa holy shit this is big, stop the presses I can't believe this could ever happen. Damn son how could it be.

Try looking her up and you'll know the reason why.

I wish the wind was strong enough to lift her skirt.

pillow service

Aiba Aina and Itou Ayala have major roles in the Bang Dream franchise which is probably as much work as a couple of shows every season. Plus there's still work for everyone through the starlight mobage

Whatever happened to this robo dork?

Attached: 2015-11.jpg (768x432, 44K)

More like she has too many roles.

myanimelist.net/people/181/Noriko_Hidaka

Which is not healthy at all. All their work comes from Bushiroad so they are pretty much reliant on this company to get continued work. I really do think they should start diversifying their work and making other connections so that they won't just disappear once Bushiroad loses interest in them.
But this is also difficult as all their time is probably tied up with Bang Dream so they can't even work on other projects even if they wanted to.

She was top tier

Is this what mental illness looks like? This has to be the millionth thread made about this literal who seiyuu.
Get a fucking grip MKL.
