Last time, Takashi heard from Mitsu that Manion went and got himself a girlfriend: a surfer even, one of the types of people that bosozoku hate. To Takashi's disbelief Manion had taken to dressing like a surfer. More importantly though, it was decreed that there'd be another gathering soon but while hanging out with the rest of the crew Takashi spotted Shoko walking with her family... although he declined to try and catch up with her deeming it pointless.
Instead he called up Yuko and learned that she was heading out to Kugenuma to hang out at the beach. She invited Takashi along but he blew it off. However the thought of other guys looking at Yuko in a swimsuit bothered him and he decided to go, roping Mitsu and Fuu to come with him. However they had no success in finding her. At the same time Yuko was waiting for Takashi as Saeko left and while waiting she was approached and hassled by a guy obviously wanting to get with her, the type of thing Takashi feared would happen.
I like how it's subtle but still obvious that (ignoring selling nudes to magazines) Yuko's probably been sexually abused. I remember knowing girls in school who were and the clinginess, childishness and hypersexuality that Yuko has was common in them as well.

It's great and it's kind of a shame that there's no official English release just because having this in, say, nice thicker volumes (and putting a little money in Takahashi's pocket) would be nice.
