It's typically the punching bag of battle anime fans (and battle anime as a whole is the punching bag of anime fans) but I don't think it deserves that.
It's consistently humorous, has very solid arcs, fun battles, and is overall so cute and endearing.
The series makes me cry so often. There's so much heart and emotion behind the characters. It's so creative, and the characters are precious.
I implore you to give it a chance, and go in with an open mind. It may warm your heart like it did mine.
>reddit spacing honestly I enjoyed fairy tail, but the humour was so absurdly cringey that I had to drop it because of that

Who is the most Kino character in fairy tail
Which female in FT likes dark skinned men?
Eli Butler
If you're truly invested is ok. But "creative" is the most debatable aspect of FT, i watched the whole first season of the anime and wouldn't use that word in ragards to the presentation of the battles at all.
The battles aren't creative sure, but the art direction, world design, and characters are all unique.
As time goes on the plots behind each arc improve. In fact, after season 1 is where it arguably hits it's stride. I do still enjoy the first season though, as it's less about intelligent battles and complex arcs and more about the characters and their chemistry.
I dropped after the first season but at the recommendation of a co-worker I jumped back in, and maybe I'm just a big baby but this girl is hooked now.
Isaac Nguyen
It's one of the best parts. I started the series when i was In my "edgy" phase, but when i came back to it I truly found the humor to be one of the most enjoyable parts.
It's a really cute show, and it never ceases to melt my heart and make me feel like a little girl again watching toonami.
Jordan Diaz
>girl you know what this means buddy
Ayden Walker
I really grew jaded throughout the series and just kinda followed the final arc out of obligation despite loving it at first. It's a likeable series but you can get most things it has done better elsewhere. Mashima's just not a very smart writer.
Jordan Torres
And what exactly does that mean? Talking about anime isn't gender exclusive. I have plenty of other female friends that love anime.

SET SAIL FOR FAIRY FAIL

Its just too cute. And, yeah it's not the most intelligent stuff battle anime can offer, but even if it doesn't compare to something like JoJo or Gintama I still find it very fun to watch and easy to binge.

I'm sad I expected more. But alot of the guys on here are misogynistic and desperate.
Jack Johnson
It's bad but the girls are hot so it's okay I guess.
The latest chapter of 100-Year Quest came out today. Gray acted out of character to confirm Gruvia, and he met his and Juvia's clones. Manga is pretty bad.
That's because it doesn't go into filler and it has brisk pacing so all of those writing flaws in this arc don't last for long.
Anthony Reed
>really good series Stopped there, no it's not.

Rave was so much better

>kino any conception that your opinion mattered or was worth engaging with should have left your mind the moment you typed those four letters
Liam Bailey
It's fucking stupid
One of the dumbest things I have ever seen
It's also a saturday morning cartoon.
If you like saturday morning cartoons, then you will like Fairy Tail. It's the same mediocre trash you've seen a million times elsewhere, just with a fresh coat of paint. I watch it with breakfast.

>It's consistently humorous The "jokes" are terrible and are aways the same >has very solid arcs Solid shit, I agree. > fun battles Bad choreography, full of asspulls, not even creative with magic powers. > It's so creative, lmao
Jackson Martinez
>The battles aren't creative sure, but the art direction, world design, and characters are all unique. None of this is true either.
