You know i really wanted it to be, that gap between s1 and 2 felt like betrayal, and i wanted aot to suffer and get btfo'd by this series.
But holy fuck did it show me, how important it is to have an actually creative writer with a vision at the helm.
This shit is essential GOT season 8, what would've happened to SnK if isayama got cucked by anime trying to make money.
It's so derivitive, taking ideas and aesthetics, but araki just can't write interesting stories, or dynamics, or build mystery or come up with creative solutions, Kabaneri had absolutely no legs past episode 2. It's not even remotely close to SnK.
