Secondhand embarrassment has become such a staple in western media, comedy especially, that it's become totally unwatchable for me.
Every normalfag I know gushed about the office, and parks and rec when they were airing, and both of those shows operate on that same pathological sense of schaudenfeude.
It was no different with the Hangover, or Borat. Western comedy has stagnated for decades, and "comedy" has become painfully unwatchable because of it.
There's no sense of interesting dramatic irony, or clever wordplay, or intelligent joke construction. It's more like someone's dangling keys in front of a baby.

I can deal with some of it like Borat, which is so absurd it's impossible for me to feel secondhand embarrassment. But whenever the situation is somewhat realistic and full of secondhand embarrassment it just becomes unenjoyable for me.

that's probably legit impossible. live action is so limited as a medium that even if someone would make some absurdly perfect show it wouldn't be enough.

The only anime with any artistic merit that stands up to live action shows is Texhnolyze.
Breaking Bad isn't good television though, it's just 6/10 entertainment with flat characters and absolutely no value outside of the roller coaster plot.

The artistic peak in anime is much higher than that in live action so it's much harder to reach.
Breaking Bad is a 2/10 even in its inferior medium though. I could easily argue how all your jewish shows are trash and copy paste, but it's not needed in this case. This is like a lower budget version of Steven Seagal movies.
