Almost no doubt that Guts will have to kill Griffith at the cost of the Moonlight Boy (since it's now confirmed they're the same). I don't think there will be any dumb fanfic shit like Guts/Casca/Farnese becoming apostles. Miura is better than that.

Probably will be some epic LOTR-style war between the mages/fantasy creatures & Griffith's demon army.

To be quite honest, my ideal ending would be that Guts finally gets to have a direct battle with Griffith and the God Hand, ultimately dying on the process, but also somehow weakening their and the Idea of Evil's power and influence over the world, maybe by making it impossible for them to assume distinct or physical forms, although not defeating them completely.
However, Guts' legacy lives on, and his tale inspires an army of warriors to continue his duty, maybe called the Berserkers, that fight like Guts, giant sword and cannon, posing a constant war against the Apostles and all of that Idea of Evil stuff, like in Dark Souls, with Artorias and the Abyss Watchers. It'd be a really good ending in my opinion, as heroes die, but their legend and legacy live on.
