Far as I've understood it Togashi's "health" has been a dubious matter for a long time with no actual confirmation on what his alleged problem is, though I suppose who can say, and it's his business whether to say what his totally real, not made up problem is.
That being said I've never heard of anyone worried about Togashi not coming back, which was the fear for Ashihara. Same with Miura; no one's ever thought that whichever hiatus spells death for the series. I'm thinking of stuff like Nyan-koi (super hiatus), Teppu (author almost died, 2 year hiatus and when he came back he prematurely rushed to an ending), and Shindere Shoujo to Kodoku na Shinigami (the author died). Stuff like Togashi and Miura, thse are really just jokes that you never truly fear. Ashihara's career could have, and could still, totally end due to his shitty condition.
