ITT Series that started good but became DBZ

Series that jerked off to power levels so hard that they became DBZ like.

Well all of the big 3. One Piece, Bleach, and Naruto.
Though one piece does its best it has definitely dropped in quality since the story is less about adventure and more about defeating Yonkou.

Fairy tale, Toriko, YuYuH, HxH, 7dealysins, BnHA, Black Clover.
Really they all follow Dragonballs shonen style one way or another.
Sadly Its hard to make something original anymore.

Naruto

>OPM
>Clearly has a peak power level and constantly goads on about how it's more a blight than a desired answer for life
>Clearly an anagram for despair/depression/apathy and lack of wanting to move outside your comfort zone to try and be more than "the strongest"
>Clearly shows that raw obsession gets you things you want but can also alienate you from others
>Became DBZ
Are you a brainlet, OP?

Bad bait is bad, cope OP.

why do you ask rhetorical questions

Dbztards are seething because Orochi got normal punched.

Black Clover has no power levels to speak of.

Those are some pretty big mental gymnastics user.

Agreed. Sadly.

Even Cell arc is better than current OPM.

Nisekoi, xxxholic, Asobi Asobase, and Shin Chan

>started good
I mean dbz>>>>>opm obviously

>bcfag lies through his teeth to try and pretend his series isn't shit

Any Overlord thread.

>nostalgia fags not able to see that DBZ was a pile of garbage for what it was trying to be
>OPM is a comedy series making fun of shows like DBZ
>DBZ Fags unable to see that
>If they do, they are pissed that their shitshow is being ridiculed

>BNHA

BNHA is slowly getting there. Deku has multiple quirks, and the whole "Singularity" with the newer gens is implying it will happen. Even older characters are "developing new skills" with their quirks. It's slowly going to get inflated.
>Jojo

The only shit that keeps it interesting, you could have the best quirk and fail because you're shit at using it, or a mediocre one and whoop ass because you're a chess master with it. I.E. Part 8.
>Marvel/DC

Unrelated to anime but power levels are horribly inconsistent to a point where you realize that the biggest gun doesn't win because you don't know what the biggest gun even is. Thor's hammer is like the super sayan mode where it's not unique anymore, etc etc.

What about ones that avoided that predicament entirely?
>Hunter x Hunter
>Shingeki No Kyojin
>Jojo's Bizarre Adventure

The true big 3s

Baki

Naruto became increasingly outlandish as it went on, especially once the final war arc started.

>HxH
have you even read the last 50 chapters?

>have the power to stop time
>kill a hundred year old Dracula
>almost get killed by a rat because it has a longer range to attack from

I don't know why people get mad about that. It makes perfect sense.

Thor's hammer was never unique re: power levels. Odin sealed Thor's existing powers within it so he couldn't wield them until he stopped being a shithead.
