Everything related to seeing everything was added only during the hospitl visit, everything before was strictly about Ice wanting a kiss because she wanted to feel like a normal girl.

If you ignore the personalities metaphor, it was just her freaking out that she might have made a promise she wouldn't be able to fulfill, not knowing how to deal with the kiss and getting to think for the first time of what to do in a scenario where Shirogane and her were going out for real.
At first Iceguya was Kaguya's attempts to try and return things to the status quo, then when she realized there was really no way out, she started to get disgusted with herself, and began probing Shirogane for his reaction to her at her most hostile. Then the self loathing kicked in.

I was consdiering that Kaguya wanting to be accepted as Ice was a possibility but wasn't sure until it had been spelled out in the hospital, so I don't think the transition was abrupt.
As to why, besides it being Kaguya's main insecurity in Dual Confession, I thought about WHY Ice would have a "fetish" for being kissed while Baka was fine with doing it herself.
The most likely interpretation ended up being that while Kaguya was happy being just a lovey-dovey partner to Prez she also a great need of validation for her nasty tendencies.
I guess it was kind of a stretch and you could argue Aka should have made it clearer if that was the intention.

I don't know what to think about this chapter, it feels rushed because of how quick Miyuki changed his mind, he gone from "I prefer dying instead of showing my true side" to "I don't give a fuck" in the span of one chapter, they resolved their conflicts too quickly, I think if they used this chapter as a confrontation of the two and then resolved both their issues the next chapter it would have been better.

I don't think anything is really resolved just that this was the first step in confronting their issues, Like I didn't really see it as him changing his mind as much as he accepted that this is the way she feels. The death of Batoto was also a contributor, I think. While the Yea Forumsnons had nowhere to host it(unless they wanted to be found out), Scans just merged back with main JB and hosted there.
