elfen ending mixed with the last part of the manga
i cried tears of joy
VEG, especially the letters part, Madoka ep12 and Koe no katachi manga.
I teared up with Kimi no Na wa, yes. Only anime I saw in the theater so that could have something to do with that. Other than that only Clannad has made me shed tears, but the VN not the anime.
The Christmas episode of Toradora. Its 2nd ED also made me well up for a few months after the show ended whenever I tried to listen to it.
This is what I call a wholesome bittersweet ending. I wish more anime could do this, instead of forcing tragedy for the sake of it.
I wish
Absolutely. Several times. Nausicaa, the scene with the Ohmu trying to go into the acid. Toward the Terra made me cry a bit at various points, as well as the last sequence in Cowboy Bebop (See You Space Cowboy playing is what got me), and albeit to a lesser extent the final sequence of Katanagatari too. And Yea Forums will hate me for saying this but Kittan's death made me mist up. I think there were some things from the original Furuba but it's been so long now. Some of the flashback death scenes in One Piece, especially Dr. Hiruluk. In FMA, Hughes' death got me.
Really I'm a sucker for charged emotional stuff.
Even though Ive read the manga and know what happens next,it still hit me hard ngl.
Yes, but mostly tears of laughter.
>Hiruluk
you shit. Why would you do this to me
I'll be honest I cried when Musashi hit the 60 yard field goal in Eyeshield 21. That was good shit.
I can't imagine a scenario more soul crushing than your daughter telling you she loves you as she dies in your arms
also this
Goku's meeting his Grandpa Gohan in the Baba Uranai arc had me bawling like a baby.
Yes. Evangelion, Your name, Steins gate, Hinamatsuri and, unfortunately, re:zero
Forgot the .gif peanut butter.
Never. I came close with 3-gatsu no lion, but usually I have a hard time getting attached to a piece of media.
>re:zero
how????? what scene
Only time i ever wanted a kid
Audio gets me more than visuals in media, and this scenes music coupled with the sound of the fire and everybodys cries made me tear up for this stupid ship.
Never actually cried more than a few tears to media though.
Twister & rems confession. While after i was done and thought about it rezero is pretty shit but at the time i was very emotionally invested.
I feel like I shed a few tears during a cowboy bebop episode. I don't remember which one though.
Frutis Basket 2019, episodes 1 to 8.
Stop letting what shitposters on this board say affect what you think of a show. If you cared so much about it that you shed tears, the show was not shit.
also digimon adventure tri made me cry tears of joy. (And later tears from yawning a lot)
And now I still shed a tear everytime I hear "butterfly". RIP Koji Wada
user just bc a show gets you invvested doesnt mean its good or that i dont like it. Avatar (movie) was shit but had me very invested when i was watching. I like rezero but i can recognize that its not half as good as its fans think it is.
That time when Megumi made a light dish for the judges because she is a sweet girl and did not want them to eat anything heavy after a whole day of eating
Kimi ni todoke made me cry
fuuuuck. I was trying to remember which scene with megumi I rememberd crying. That was the one.
manga does more often because I get more engaged with the characters
the music...
episode 8 of Zombieland Saga. Lilys episode.
unironically no, I'm not a faggot
Probably Real Folk Blues 1&2, Brain Scratch, Jupiter Jazz 2, Speak Like A Child, or Waltz for Venus.
>If we had met earlier in life, would we have been friends?
Always gets me. The way he went out, that was just crazy
get the hell out of this place you fucking faggot
wow user, you must be a real tough guy. Can I join your gang?
Cry? No
Tear up? Plenty of times, if a show wants to make you feel sad then just roll with it, makes it all the more enjoyable
just because your daddy didn't love you, doesn't mean the thought of being/having a loving father getting on the wrong path and regretting it after his daughters death AND being able to make up with her can't make us anons feel things.
>his daughters death
if you actually watched the show you would know that "Lily" is actually called Masao, and is in fact a male, with a penis and even facial hair
Me too with Steins;Gate. Was it the scene where Kurisu bursts through the door to confess her love to Okabe whilst he's going back in time for the last time and will never see her again? Cos that shit got me.
Teared up at the fights in the last season of BnHA, specifically Deku vs Muscular guy and All Might vs All for One.
When Taiga cried in Toradora I got a teary eyed
Not anime, but in the Naruto manga, when Naruto defeated Neji, and then when the crowd began cheering for him. He was so happy, finally being loved and recognized by so many people. Shame it was pretty much downhill from there in terms of my own enjoyment but that fight and that scene were beautiful.
youtube.com
>I'm Lily and I'm always going to be Lily. Zombies don't grow after all
She said it herself.
Sora Yori got me good a couple times
this very scene made me cry
He's a he whether he grows or not, you fucking faggot. Your mental illness is disgusting and frankly embarrassing
Honestly i cant remember but it was obvious during the suffering episodes mightve been okabe venting
I can't believe she's fucking dead
God zombieland saga was great and that episode too but my favorite was kotaros identity reveal
It was never alive, user. Robots don't live.
You are just a robot made out of biologic components user
I cry whenever I remember the trailer for the fourth madoka magica movie from 2015 and what we get in 2019 is a stupid spinoff.
All the time.
I think I'm a fag or something.
Are you depressed? I think crying to anime provides much needed catharsis for people like that
Nah.
Depression doesn't exist. People who say they have it are just attention whoring.
wow, learn something new every day
>Depression doesn't exist
tell me more
Depression is a literal chemical imbalance in the brain. Whatever is supposed to release dopamine doesn’t do it as much as it should. Idk if you’re baiting but that’s retarded
Edgy 15 year old spotted
Yeah doc, I'm sorta sad, y'kno?
Give me the narcotics doc. Pronto.
This absolute madman has just btfo millions of doctors and researchers with a single stroke of the keyboard
>Scholars cannot be wrong ever
Meanwhile psychology has been proven unable to reproduce more than 60% of the studies from which they derived their "facts."
nature.com
I can't believe you're gobbling up this bait and participating in a blatantly obvious derail. As dumb as this user is pretending to be, you are legitimately dumber. Are you somehow physically incapable of dismissing even the most obvious shitpost? No? Then prove it.
Never and probably never will
madoka movie
love live movie
>studies they took on ranged from whether expressing insecurities perpetuates them to differences in how children and adults respond to fear stimuli, to effective ways to teach arithmetic
Literally nothing about depression, one of the most studied conditions of the past 20 years. At least read your articles before linking them.
Based
>how can depression be real if our brains arent real?
this
The premise of this show is so dumb
how so
>let's create robots that act and feel like real people
>they can only live a few years so just when people get attached to them they die
>also if they're not killed in time they turn into crazy murderobots
That stuff was necessary to tell the story they wanted to tell. It wouldn't have made sense in any other context.
Sure. Doesn't make the premise less dumb.
choppers backstory in one piece made me cry
not exactly cry, but I can't watch this moment without something welling up inside.
I teared up during parts of NGE and EoE. I also did cry at the end of TTGL when Simon meets Kamina again. Besides that not really.
oh, this too
I cried white tears out of my pee pee
Yes, Pic related and VEG EP10 were the latest anime that made me cry.
correct and factual
Run with the wind, your name.
Being a track runner, the ekiden hit extra hard
ok user.
>Anime
Princess Tutu Episode 13 and Finale
>Manga
YKK last chapter absolutely broke me
It's just like Blade Runner!
>sport
>using Yea Forums
God I wish that wasn't me
Best anime I've seen in years probably, cried like 3 times and had to pause it.
>THAT fucking scene in the middle of the movie out of nowhere
Gotta agree, absolute kino.
The girl who leapt through time
Whenever I finish any slice of life I cry
like a little bitch
last one I remember was Steins;Gate years ago
I don't even remember what the fuck was in it
pic related and Punpun with Aiko's wish card thing and when it was revealed that Shimizu's mom is dead since I was too dumb to pick it up before and it hit me all at once got close too
BASED ANONYMOUS
HOW WILL SHRINKS AND RESEARCHES OF THE MEDICAL FIELD EVER RECOVER
Of course. The one that has made me cry the most so far is Ansatsu Kyoushitsu.
God I've rewatched the ep 5 times by now. Past 2 eps have been legendary.
quite a bit of the ones that are done "well".
First two that came to mind are several parts of Ano Hana (one word or two?), and the Edolas arc of fairy tail, specifically Elfman and Mirajane discovering their sister was still alive and being reunited with her.
Digimon will always have a special place in my heart. But after the ending to tri and also watching digimon tamers I'm really not sure if i should watch anymore for a few years.
never liked that guy. i mean, i understand the character and arc, and maybe would have tried to convince him to no be such and idiot, but eh.
Yeah, it's a shame that that little boy was cut down in the prime of his youth.
we're all biobots in the end.
You know, it's a lot easier for some people to pretend that something doesn't exist than for them to admit something is "wrong" with them.
I'm very well and personally familiar with the reproduction crisis currently plaguing the field but what the fuck are you trying to imply? If you're going to say depression doesn't exist because some studies are wrong then how do we really know anything is true? Some people are just crazy? Well, how are they crazy? And we're back to the beginning. Ignoring that we're able to measure the lack of dopamine, serotonin, and etc. in the brain due to improvements in neuroscience tools.
Yeah but Paul Joseph Watson said depression isn't real so fuck you libtard
Literally who?
>Paul Joseph Watson
I don't even know who that is, but looking him I found he's some random youtube fag. Why should I care about what he says?
>libtard
You fucking wut, m8? I'm about as far from a libtard as you can get. Just because I'm saying you're wrong doesn't mean I'm your enemy or that I'm on the other side of the political field than you.
Here's an ncbi link, and a harvard link putting into layman's terms.

Are you aware that seasonal affective disorder is a thing, caused by the lack of sunlight people in the extreme northern and southern climates get due to the tilt of the earth's axis preventing them from absorbing the sun's rays / lack of dat sweet 10 000 + lux light entering their eyes triggering their photo receptors?
I don't even care if you're a troll depression is something that a lot of people suffer from so fuck off.
let me put this in a way you would understand
you're being le epic trolled. Problem?
Didn't finish the thought. Depression is a thing that can be caused by many different things, and seasonal affective disorder is but one example of depression brought on by environmental, rather than chemical causes.
>although the sun's rays actually cause your body to produce chemicals such as nitric acid which lowers blood pressure.
>here's the link if anyone cares, tl:dr; spending time in the sun is as good for you as smoking is bad for you.
ncbi.nlm.nih.gov
Not really. You attempting to "le troll" me allowed me to get out some important information to random lurkers and maybe made someone's life better. And I'm more than mature enough to not be bothered by some random person on Yea Forums of all the places.
So, have a headpat, happy fishing.
*pats user*
This scene from the latest episode of Bocchi hit me pretty hard because I also lived alone in another city when I was a high schooler.
Renge learning to ride a bike made me tear up, not really sure why.
Not anime but this scene made me cry.
wait, do you mean elfen lied lmao?
this. in my defense I was 14
yeah that bombing scene fucked me up for a day.
Came here to post this, that shit was gut wrenching, I'm lucky that when I watched it I've never lost any immediate family at that point, it would've hit be like a kinetic strike otherwise
Little Busters Refrain
both VN and anime
goddamn
Oh Menma... I loved you so much till I seen that pic of you coming out of that asshole. Now I can never view you the same.
Get ready to feel the feels again.
No but I wish I would sometimes, being too jaded is honestly sorta shitty and doesn't really do you any favors when trying to connect with others.
Knj went they went all in on the trauma of her past
Uzamaid made me teary eyed too
Bad childhood lolis hit me hard i lost a sister to abuse she never got to become an adult and leave

All About Lily Chouchou reference?
This anime made me cry for the first time.
READ THE VN
I liked the comic of nana or whatever her name is suffering
>i lost a sister to abuse she never got to become an adult and leave
I'm listening...
I cried when she started running after this.
Shigechi.
He deserved better.
The ending of CCS made me cry.
Though that was the only time I cried, because of any entertainment medium.
help who you are able to help, the how...no finer info depository.
Clannad
TTGL
Madoka
Non Non Biyori
I'm amazed that I cried for a grade schooler who misses her newfound friend.
