Great episode this week. I was expecting from the beginning that the big joke of the episode would be that everyone is literally just humans piloting mechs, but they really were just robots, huh.
They explained it several episodes ago. Robby gave him some candy chips or something and that was apparently enough to make Yang desire his boipucci. It's like a tsundere plot, though, because he's using his debt as a cover for chasing him around the galaxy.
I'm pretty sure I've seen a Minovsky particles reference in another anime, so probably not a big deal.

That's anime for you. Plus, it's mainly a comedy, so it's not like they're trying to make The Best Love Story Ever Told. But there are still a few more episodes, so maybe we'll get a little more depth to it.

We did speculate about his training to be an idol or a prince/someone of very high status; that is probably why he is so multi-talented and had that many followers on social media, but I can't recall the moon being mentioned or having any relation with Hachi before like the other user was saying.
